The Sims 4 with more Science!
Hey again everyone!
I've mostly been advocating for magical/arcane content, but I'm also a big fan of Science!
I know that we have a Scientist Career with Get to Work, but it just doesn't feel fleshed out. At least not to me.
I'm thinking why not add some cool new content related to science and technology!
Like adding a giant sleek/high tech modern aquarium that allows our Sims to observe/study Marine Biology and you can adjust/manipulate the temperature and habitat/ecosphere as well as add exotic fish like Octopuses, Giant Squids, Sharks, and even genetically modified fish and alien fish.
We can also add a DNA Analyzer or a high tech machine that stores, analyzes, and manipulates DNA for our sims to study, discover, and even use on themselves or others to observe the effects and receive some new abilities/perks.
We could add Robotics into the mix as well. Construct machines with advanced artificial intelligence like Servos, SimBots, and/or PlumBots. Or construct simple or complex but not conscious machines that clean your house or materializes food and plants!
We could add more potions to discover, more plants, insects, ways to die like toxic gases, lethal anomalies, Bio-Hazardous materials, and so on. Even add new dimensions with content for our Sims to discover and collect!
We can even add new high tech/science related cosmetic content.
Perhaps even add laws, concepts, or content related to Quantum Physics, Biochemistry, Physiology, Botany, or maybe some made up field of study that complies with the Sims Universe.
Though what are your thoughts? Would it be better to implement more science or science related/inspired content to our Sims? What would you like to see in our game that is science related? What are your ideas involving content, concepts, and/or mechanics to the game?
Plus, I know that Science isn't all test tubes and gadgets. I do have a lot of respect for Science and always advocate for using inductive and deductive reasoning, Logic, critical thinking, and searching for the objective.
As always,
Thank you for reading this post.
