The story of the Vogt family. Part 1 - ?

Foreword:
I have copied my entries from the "What happened in your game today" here, since someone suggested that I'd actually post here since well... It's rather long and a lot. If a moderator has a problem with this I apologize and ask that those posts be deleted and not this one. Thank you.

Now, this is NOT a "complicated story". This is more of a diary for Agathe Vogt (and eventually her children).

PART 1
Let me introduce Agathe Vogt.

Long story short: After editing LilSimsie's save a bit (adding a few things like a dance floor to a nightclub that didn't have it etc etc I decided to just give it a go.
I filled the "Not in world" section with tons of sims, set MCCC to not let them move into houses but also to be allowed to marry and have kids, and created a new Sim with the intention of trying out Jungle Adventures:

Agathe Vogt, a "German" girl living in a small cottage in Newcrest but with an ultimate goal to move back to Windenburg where she grew up.
She's a Dance Machine, Active and Loves The Outdoors.

The Welcome Wagon was rather pathetic. Only one neighbor, and Agathe don't have anything to offer her guest anyway... She's at that point in her life where the idea of buying both a washing machine AND a clothesline the same week is a dream. Especially since she really needs a shower. The tub is fun and all but it takes an hour and a half to get clean.

Also, paying 200 simolions for a clothesline, because Agathe is apparently too dumb to tie a rope by herself.

PART 3
Why is the Romance Festival always the WORST placve to hook up?

Agathe going to the Romance festival... (please note the albino Japanese guy. As always, the game spawns 5 of him every play session).

The morning after was a flea market. As usual, it's a much better place to meet hot singles than the Romance festival. For some reason.
Now... This guy is cute and nice. But he's quite a bit older AND he's lazy. Agathe has not decided if to pursue anything with him yet.

PART 4
The tangled web of romance:

At the club gathering last night Agathe tried to get the attention of "contestant no 1" but ended up walking home wearing nothing but a towel(!?) and not for a good reason:

The evening after he asks Agathe out for a Not-A-Date-Just-A-Dance-Party but as soon as she gets in the mood he bolts. *grrr*. She responds by calling in the troops (the Spin Masters) turning the night into a club gathering instead.

The morning after she calls Benny (contestant no 3) instead and invites him out for breakfast, finding out that he's a Romantic Bookworm as well as an Athletic guy. Not bad at ALL. Not bad at all!
She also finds out that Flex works at the local restaurant...
(Is it me or is she (what is it you kids call it these days?) "thirsty"? Look at how she looks at Benny... :p )

PART 5
The breakfast out goes well. Agathe and Benny are DEFINITELY hitting it off, and are VERY cute together!

In fact, it goes well enough that Agathe dares to officially ask Benny for a date: They end up in a rooftop café in San Mushino! The romantic aura really helps...

PART 6
Short update:

Agathe invites Benny to stay the night. Not surprising; if the Café have had a wardrobe they probably would have scandalized the place... They were sort of all over eachother...
The morning after Benny keeps interfering with Agathe's mission to study her opponent's teamplay. She does not mind (I did not set them up to do this, but they actually kissed 5 times straight, just over and over. He seems to definitely be the correct pick for her, if we try to stay away from cute tattooed girls at least). He even cleaned the toilet AND did the dishes without being asked to!!!

Long story short... two days later he moves in. (I did change his looks ever so slightly and expanded his wardrobe. He basically had "Athletic outfit" as default clothing for everything).

His only downside, it seems, is that he was a townie. So no extra money from moving in. Oh well... He is now an author-wannabe. He has already published two books: "The Toad That Could" and "The Frog That Couldn't". Part of an epic trilogy for ages 3+ :D
Also, he joins the Powerhouse. I will probably have him join the Avant-Gardes as well. Fits with his interests.

PART 7
[(I went to the vacation Jungle thingie town today. MAJOR disappointment; I was very hesitant to buy this pack knowing I loathe the other vacation pack, but Ì gave in looking at the trailers. I regret it now)

Benny and Agathe decided to go on an adventure together; Agathe talked him into it, it had been her dream since she was a little girl

After being forced to pay tourist-trap prices for essential equipment, stung by bees, attacked by bats etc they found some piles of dirt to dig through.
They found "artifact-shaped lumps" that they took with them.

They finally found the ruins of an old pool and decided to go skinnydipping.

Then they found the entrance to the main temple... And forgot to put their clothes back on (Not on purpose! I assumed they would auto-dress when told to go through the portal... My bad)

PART 8
Agathe and Benny had to go back to their rented cottage several times before finally making it to the legendary temple of legends.
Benny dived headfirst into more excavations while Agathe made a... an... acquaintance of sorts

Unfortunately this interesting person(?) decides he needs to go home and sleep(!) and so they don't have time to talk to him a lot and have to delve deeper by themselves.

For some reason the screenshot I took of them finding the final treasure didn't register. Weird.

After finding a golden frog and a ton of vases, they head back to town to celebrate. Agathe, who loves dancing, quickly adopted the local customs.

After coming back home to Newcrest, the couple celebrates in a different way, before Agathe has to rush to work and Benny starts investigating the last of the treasures he found.

PART 9
Since Maxis in their enormous wisdom decided to make adventure gear for sale randomized, and I lost my machete in the first doorway...This second trip is proving far less romantic than the first. Benny has to spend 3-4 full sim hours to clear ONE DOORWAY because somebody at Maxis made a very very annoying design decision (I wasted 36 hours of my 4 day vacation hoping someone should sell a Machete. Never happened. But then vendors seems bugged, there are never more than two at a time (despite 3 tables) so a random table is always empty. More often than not there's just a single vendor selling bug spray). *GRRRR* :( :( :( :( :(

....

Agathe and Benny decides to go back over the weekend for a second trip.
It starts
well enough... With wine, song, dance and a proposal! :) <3 <3 :)
