They're always like that in the beginning, I wonder if that's going to change or not. It has in so many stories - but there's always a way into both directions. Can't wait to learn what yours will be. After all she already pities Audax (and I love that he's old, tbh; he seem slike a sweet one). Why has she bought him? Pity? Because he was cheap? Probably, because she also seems to have baught Heraklites because he was cheap although she's also suspicious of him.
Either Kelaeno is miserly, or she's practically dirt poor (hey, tickets on a Phoenician ship don't come cheap!)
