For celebrities I like the idea that you can be a celebrity for other things than singing or acting - like if you reach level ten in any career you become famous. A famous author hounded by fans wanting autographs. A career like Detective will see you accosted at work by journalists trying to dig up dirt. And of course, the more careers you top the more fans you get, but you'll also get people who are obsessed, who keep ringing you at all hours asking you for dates all the time, or even trying to break into your home for souvineers. So it uses the ups and downs. and it uses old careers as well as new ones.
