There is no cabin around this shower. Besides dorms, it could also be used in gyms or pools. Sims shower in these using swimwear.

Those are prison showers.

All the gyms and pools I've ever been to have cubicles around the shower, with a curtain, and many even have a private changing area, with a door.

The dorms for rural students at the local university here have a shared ensuite between each pair of rooms. And the rooms are not shared. They are private, for one person only.

Where I come from these public showers are everywhere. At the gym, at the pool, at dorms.

If we get these kinds of showers we could also create custom showers using walls and glass windows.

I have never seen showers like that, other than at pools, where you rinse before getting in the pool.

I am totally creeped out by the lack of privacy you must suffer.

Might be cultural differences, but I honestly don‘t know any pool or gym that has a shower with ensuites. They are always just rooms with multiple showers like this:

Still I‘d like to have the option to have these free standing showers, you can always add walls around them if you want
