But toddlers dont buy clothes in real life either the parents do and I can tell you now rarely will a parent try clothes on a toddler in a boutique we tend to buy off the rack and mannequins are even more important to show what an outfit made up of items would look like together. So really any obstacle seen in regards to toddlers not behaving like adults is not a reason NOT to have toddler mannequins because it would truly be like real life and isnt sims supposed to be about "real life"? - This is just one of a bunch of things that they should have thought about when added the toddlers in the game. And they cant complain about that, cuz they were the ones that made the decision to cut the toddlers out of the game!

They aren't going to add toddler mannequins because they just aren't feasible. Do you guys not see how mannequins work? A sim comes into a store, views an outfit on a mannequin, spins into it to "try it on", spins out of it and either does or does not buy it. Toddlers are babies who don't (or shouldn't for the sake of realism) buy clothes for themselves.
I understand that you want to see cute little toddler mannequins wearing cute little toddler outfits like you see in the mall, but the retail system isn't set up for toddler mannequins. It's bad enough that kids do their own shopping.
According to one of the gurus, nothing is really impossible.
So, having said that: why not have toddler mannequins that are activated by the adults? The adult activates the mannequin, the toddler twirls into the clothes. The adult observes the toddler and gives the outifit the yeah, nay, oooh, or aaah and then makes the purchase or tries something else.
An interaction like that would add some realism and cuteness to the game, which it sorely needs. Plus, it gives more interactions that haven't been seen before, which the game also sorely needs. I would love to see more thinking out of the box. Just because something works a certain way now, shouldn't mean that it can't be added to or improved later.
I know that there's a cost entailed in creating/adding features to preexisting DLC. However, I think that EA could recoup that initial investment on the back end. People are more likely to buy from and support a company that always seeks maximum integration and adjustment of features that aren't working as well as they could or should.
The GTW retail system and the Seasons clothing category systems could definitely have used a second (maybe even a third) look.
