👻 Ghost Toddler/Child ?

Is there a way to make my toddler or child sims ghost in TS4? I think it would be adorable
(well even though of course that implies they must die first but... )

I just recall they would usually be taken by child services
so is there way around it without mods? or some specific death type?

    Of course. Those trait cheats!

    Assign any ghost trait with that cheat (testingcheats need to be true).
    Use this cheat:
    traits.equip_trait


    Let me provide an example:
    traits.equip_trait drown

    You can have a child ghost by wishing for a child using the wishing well. Ghost toddler is not possible un-modded.

    Kids can die of freezing, overheating, pufferfish nigiri, drowning and fire and maybe something else.
    Toddlers can't die without mods.

    thank you!
    toddler ghost would have been cute but yeah I don't think its possible without mods
    I shall have children haunt my sims instead

    You'd probably want the ghost toddler potty trained first or you'll end up haunted with with ethereal stinky ghost diapers...

    Well, wouldn't it be possible to change a ghost into a toddler in CAS?

    I'm not sure if you've tried this or not, but if you let the child age into a teen and turn them into a ghost by whatever method, can you then use the cas.fulleditmode cheat to age them down into a child again?

    I thought children always got rescued by CPS and taken away from the family before anything deadly actually happened to them.

That’s the only way I know how to do it without using mods or cheats personally - obviously the original creator would have had to cheat to create the toddler in the first place, but it’s something that doesn’t need anything extra added to the game to work

    Edit: I’ll post some pictures of Lucy Goth, my toddler ghost later when I’m not on mobile (I made all the Goths ghosts in my game and they have an Addams Family vibe that I love)

    I do think a child will get whisked away by child services before they die usually (from starvation for sure) but once when my sims were doing the Jungle Adventure vacation, my child sim died from poisoning (more rapidly than it should have happened so I think my game was glitching), so it is possible for them to die from some expansion pack based deaths I believe. (It’s actually the child sim in my signature photo - I cheated to add her back into my family and then one of her moms made her some ambrosia. She has her tomb stone in their yard and it reads: Beatrix Douglas, defeated death :D)
