I like that they add some elements of local culture and aesthetics, it makes the worlds more believable and immersive. I appreciate that they gave us a Tuktuk for Tomarang, but it's not functional. I would have appreciated more a low priced bike, motorbike and some boat that looked appropriate for the region it's inspired by. If they release world packs, I don't expect them to tie them to some great new gameplay mechanic, but would love if they offered specific foods, harvestables, collectibles, a craftable of some sort, some holiday traditions, a local custom or two, maybe even an alternative way of doing something, like they did with the squat toilet. Maybe spear fishing instead of line fishing. Hammocks instead of beds. Eating with your hand. Climb coconut trees or a swing tied to a coconut tree. They could add maybe new collectibles for previous collections that make sense in this new world, like new bird feathers or new shells, or new fish in the sea.
