Hello models and welcome to our very first judging panel!
Tonight we will score your photos, critique them, and cut one of you.
Let me first introduce our judges! We have Maeve Bismarck & Natasha Miccio, established top models!
Let's begin the judging!

ALLIE
Hi Allie! I really like this image, I think it shows of Australia very well! The dingo and the outback are so well known and associated with Australia that i could not think of any better settings! My one slight issue here is that it looks like you are floating over the settings, the flowers, instead of actually standing on the group. Other than that this fits the theme well!

ANTONIO
Antonio this photo is brilliant! I love the vibrancy of the settings, they really have a cool Spanish party vibe going on! My only issue is that I wish you were more of a fokus! You have a nice simple pose, but it works well, but you just don't seem to be front and center as you should be!

ASHA
The settings in this photo are great! You mention the fantasy aspect of the country, yet there is nothing fantasy in this photo! I love fantasy, so I think next week we will 100% have to do a fantasie photo and it's all your fault! Haha. The Burberry sweater is a bit too England as well, but all in all I can totally see the Scot in the picture!

DEVON
I have to be 100% honest with you, if it wasn't for your confessional I would have have had zero idea what this photo was about! As I am not from New Orleans I would have just assumed this was some place in France. But I get it and I think it's a very nice photo. I like the colors, just work on the clarity!

JAKE
Jake this photo is almost perfekt! I love the settings, I love the styling. Your overall look is great as well! Nice hair style, I love the beard - don't shave it! Even the dog is great, though I am partial to Golden Retrievers haha. The pose is also great, you look so carefree and relaxed - exactly how one should be at home! My only cause for concern are the shadows! The dog and you are missing your shadows! Just be sure to watch out for something like that in the future! If the settings have them you should have them as well.

OMARA
This is stunning! I love all of the colors, it gives it a great summery feel! I may confuse this with a different place than Miami though, as I think mostly of the beach and city. I love your look, the platinum hair is perfekt for you! A slight critique, you just look a bit uncomfortable and insecure. Other than that this is a great image!

RUBY
Something quick in English, this is great! It looks so typical of a Oktoberfest photo, Dirndl, Bierkrug, etc! Amazing job and great way to start!

TIFFANY
Hello Tiffany! What a nice and summer image! The vibe of this photo is 100% California! On that note, I wish that the clothing was a bit more summery, The tights I feel were a bit too much. Also the brightness of this image is a bit too bright as well! I think you should lighten up a bit and not have such a tense pose, but the expression looks nice and relaxed! I think you need a bit of work on the modeling, but I feel you have the drive to do well and potential to grow!

VINA
I love this photo! It just has a magical feel to it. It's the perfekt time of day when it's almost night, but yet there are still a few minutes of day to hand onto. Even without looking at the camera I feel that connection, especially between you and your horse! It's a wonderful photo and it captures the essence of the US and Texas so well!

Thank you so much for letting us know more about Australian wildlife! They truly are fascinating, aren’t they? I love how you’ve leant down and have an animal as your extra but… is that appropriate clothing when exploring the wild part of Australia? I love your style but I worry about the amount of bugs that could bite you! I love how you’re looking straight at that camera with that gentle smile, just gorgeous!
(Editing note: good proportions but I feel like you could have done a better job at editing the dingoes in)

Ohoho, hermoso! I love this shot, Antonio! Nice background, and you aren’t looking too shabby yourself, heh. I love that you had a theme in mind that is timely; that is a creative approach to this round. Your outfit might not scream “Spain”, but I love it, especially those rolled up sleeves. Did you know that many girls loooove exposed forearms? Unfortunately, the top part of your image is too overwhelming, and I find myself looking at those decorations instead of your handsome face.
(Editing note: it looks like he’s a little bit too pink, don’t you think?)

Asha, this photo is beautiful. Choosing a glen for Scotland is perfect! You look so elegant yet so inviting, and your outfit is fantastic! Scotland is also known for their legendary monsters, and I got a good chuckle from your national animal! My only criticism is on the editing side. Don’t you think that the deer looks a little bit too large?
Other than that, you did a fantastic job, well done dear!

What a beautiful background you shared with us! Thank you. I haven’t tried beignets myself, but now that you mention it maybe it’s time for me to try some! I love this urban setting. I love that you’ve shown us something more personal. And can I say I love your outfit! So simple yet so stylish!
(Editing note: based on the chairs alone, it looks like he should be slightly larger)

I love a man who rocks the colour pink, and you sir, have done it! You get double thumbs up from me with your spot-on style! You’ve shown us a beautiful background, it looks serene. It’s a perfect spot to relax in with your trusty pal. Milo looks beautiful as well! Your pose looks relaxed but those shoulders… are those muscles or are you hunched up? I can’t quite tell…
(Editing note: use filters to blend your character more into the background, as well as adding shadow)

Wow, that is incredibly vibrant! May I just point out how beautiful your make-up is, it’s perfect! I love how you showed colour as a symbolic figure for Miami. Your outfit is fantastic, and I love how you tried to incorporate the colour onto your outfit. It’s beautiful, and while it has a lot of patterns the white breaks it and allows you to stand out. This is so fantastic!
Also, where did you get your bag? :disappointed:

Guten tag, Ruby! I’m glad that our country can be represented! And of course, Oktoberfest! Best time of the year, hands down. Though, I wonder if you could have showed us a different part of Germany that not many know about. Nevertheless, that is small matter, because this is still stunning! I love that you chose the dirndl to wear, you look fantastic in it! And can I just say how adorable those braids are?

First of all, I love that pop of red among the blue and the yellow! Really makes you stand out a lot. Of course it’s only appropriate to show the sandy beaches of the city of angels. The smell of seawater can be comforting in its own way. While we can see the sand, perhaps it was better to show us some of the water as well as you mention in your confessional. Lastly, I’m still loving that red dress.
(Editing note: the contrast is way too high. Try using photo filters as well when it comes to adding that outdoor feel. High contrast and high saturation harms the colours of the photo when overdone.)

This shot is gorgeous. I love the sunset setting, and are those lavenders?! Lavenders are amazing! You are indeed living what you think is the American Dream, and that is fantastic. I love your styling, it’s very simple yet it does have that cowgirl look and you rock it so well! Your pose looks absolutely as well! Marvellous, I love this so much!

Jake! I love the pensive look on your face. You look so handsome in this shot. I do have a few quarrels with the editing, though, which are drawing my attention away from you. I think you did pretty well when matching yourself to the color scheme of the backdrop, but the positioning felt strange to me. I kept thinking that you were hovering over the deck... I think you may have been a little too large in proportion to your surroundings. I also don’t feel that the dog fits into the photo seamlessly. He looks a little out of place, and I can’t help but notice that there are intense shadows on everything around except for him. But I do have to say that I like the color scheme of this photo, I think it fits Kansas well and you did a great job of creating that effortless country-boy feel.

Very unique idea right off the bat! I didn’t notice the second animal in the back at first, nice touch! I do notice some faded-fuzzyness around the edges of the dog, and I don’t really see how your outfit fits into the Australian outback theme you have going on in this photo. I feel like the color scheme clashed a little bit, and it made it feel like you weren’t really there in that photo. The wolf in the back, on the other hand, matches perfectly. But I’m thrown off by the fact that there are bushes sticking up from the ground in the bottom of the photo, but the leaves somehow end up behind the wolf, who is supposed to be far behind them. Keep in mind that I always notice strange details like this, but I usually don’t pay much mind to certain mistakes if it appears there was an effort in doing something about it.

I really love this backdrop. It’s honestly beautiful. But I think you should have done something to make yourself fit in better. Right now, it doesn’t feel like you’re really there, which could have been solved by maybe some different styling and shading/shadows? Because, really, this is an awesome setting. It could have been breathtaking with just that extra push. Reading the description, I had expectations for it to be magical. Very unique idea, though. Nature in Scotland has very good acclaim, so it was a good thing to focus on for your country.

Antonio! Looking very dapper here. I love the pose, and the colorful festival background. I do notice that the whole entry feels like a sort of advertisement for the festival or something, but I still like it. If you had matched yourself to the backdrop a little better, this entry probably would have gotten a perfect score from me. Very good job!

First off, I think you did nearly perfect with matching the color tones. I’m impressed with your ability to do that right off the bat, I definitely didn’t even realize I could do that until months after I’d started editing. I think it’s an interesting idea to focus on your favorite cafe. It gave us a little insight in you personally, but I would have like if you’d chosen something that was a little more creative. Oh! Almost forgot, your proportions were on point this round. I’m glad you didn’t make yourself look like a giant in your surroundings. You’re off to a good start, and I can sense some fast improvement coming from you!

I love your chipper attitude in this entry. I think the bright colors and the playful styling go well together. It’s properly mismatched, so it works together. I really love the overall energy in this entry. Your addition of the chicken was funny, and so true (at least from what I’ve heard about Florida). I think you did good with the editing, the only thing I noticed that was off was some part of the shadows. They weren’t all going the same direction as the one from the tree which is part of the real photo, and I would have liked if you’d tried to keep that original angle and starkness going throughout with the rest of the shadows. This sort of reminds me of a photo you would see of Miami street style, which I love. So good job!

Honestly, Ruby, I LOVE this photo. I could not find a single thing that I had an issue with. I love the idea, I love the colors, and the editing is impeccable. Oktoberfest was a great idea for this entry, and it did a good job of representing your culture and giving us a feel of it all. The outfit is so cute, and the pose is done seamlessly! Love the beer in her hand. Nice touch ;) Great job this round, look forward to seeing your future entries!

First off, really great job for your first edit! You did a great job of matching your color tone and brightness to match the backdrop.I do have to say, though, that I think the brightness was a little overdone in this photo to the point where it became a little distracting, and your elbow even blends with the light. Also, the legs look very different when compared to your arms and face. Perhaps you missed that part when you were adjusting the brightness? I also notice a few indents in your legs from when you cut out/erased the background. You’ll learn to be more efficient with that soon enough :) You should also pay attention to sizing in relation to background for future challenges. You look like a giant compared to that wooden ramp next to you. But, again, these are things everyone struggles with at the beginning of editing. The sooner you figure it out the better you will do in this comp. I expect great things from you!

Vina, this photo is stunning! The color scheme you went for is overall great, and the editing is very nicely done. There are a few parts that don’t add up, like the shadows not matching up in some places, or the horse’s lifted hoove being erased a little. I think it’s very impressive that you took such a realistic horse, and managed to make it fit in seamlessly next to a sim. Usually realistic animals and people look out of place next to sims. That’s not the case here. I can see the detail you put in with the blur and the rest of the editing, and I think you did a really great job this round. Look forward to seeing more from you!
When we return, I will announce who is going home....
