Sul sul, o/ We noticed Simmers were creating a lot of threads to find or share your Sims Youtube and Twitch channels. So what we've done is merged those threads together to create this MEGA THREAD!!! :D Please use this thread going forward and have fun discovering others channels as well as promoting your own ^^ Guidelines for this thread: The Forum rules apply so we'd ask folks to double check their channel content is forum appropriate i.e. it must hold up against the rules in this forum. Please only share the YouTube or Twitch channels you create and/or stream Sims content on :) Hot Tip: Linking to your stream/video will make it easier for people to find and enjoy your content. You Won’t Believe Who My Sim Romanced… Yep, It’s Agnes Crumplebottom!
Hey fellow Simmers! I hope you're all having an awesome day in your Sim worlds! I just wrapped up something that I’m super excited to share with you—my latest video where my elder Sim, Cedric, attempts the impossible: Romancing Agnes Crumplebottom! 😂 Yep, you read that right. We all know Agnes isn’t exactly the romantic type (and her handbag agrees), but I thought it’d be fun to throw Cedric into the deep end and see what happens. Spoiler alert: it’s awkward, it’s sweet, and, let’s be honest, there’s a lot of “dodging handbags” moments. If you’re into quirky love stories, unexpected drama, or just seeing Agnes Crumplebottom out of her comfort zone, I think you’ll enjoy it. Cedric’s a patient old soul, and watching him try to woo her was probably one of the most entertaining Sims 4 challenges I’ve done in a while! SIMS IN BLOOM CHALLENGE - CH 1 - GEN 1
Meet DAISY BLOOM, our Generation 1 Founder. Challenge rules state that the founder has to have the Cheerful, Clumsy, and Loves outdoors traits, and that she has to max the wellness, fishing and gardening skills, complete the Freelance Botanist Aspiration, and have a job as a gardener. Likes the colors white and yellow. She can marry, but that sim must have the loves outdoors trait. My own additional rules are that Daisy must have a fully functional house with a basic bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area before she can move her potential spouse in. I also downloaded one of the Maxis pre-made spa builds in Newcrest. ~ ~ ~ Playing Rags to Riches in Spring (30 days). Moved Daisy onto a vacant lot - 2 Olde Mill Road in Henford-on-Bagley. She sold all the trees and rocks on her lot and got $648 simoleons. I then downloaded a 0 simoleon Abandoned Cottage (it's a debug house), and added the debug toilet/shower stall from the Jungle Adventure pack. I also placed a debug contemplative stool (rental) for meditation. (This actually works to increase wellness skill). Lot traits are Simple Living, Penny Pixies, Homey, Wild foxes and Off-the grid. With the funds she had from selling the rocks and trees on her lot, she bought a dumpster (her bed for now - lol), and an Always Has a Snack Bag. She also purchased 2 inground garden patches ($10 each). After this, she had $4 simoleons left. She then got a job in the gardener career. It was now time to make some simoleons to purchase some garden seeds. She found a frog, some upgrade parts, a MySims trophy, and did some fishing at the pond. The welcome wagon came and never placed the food on the ground. So whatever it was, they took it back with them. She then headed to Finchwick and did some fishing...during a thunderstorm...and egads, she was struck by lightning. Deciding that she had enough fishing, she headed to the Gnome's Arms Pub to see if there were any eligible bachelors who also loved the outdoors. She feasted on free chips and water and made several friends, but no-one with this trait. She napped on the couch in the Gnomes Arms Pub and so ended Day 1. ~ ~ ~ Notes: Sims in Bloom Challenge Rules - go HERE. Abandoned Cottage by Quakeers. I had done a preliminary run-through for this challenge and found it difficult to find sims with the loves outdoors trait. So, bearing that in mind, I randomly downloaded some sims from the gallery, and also used some of the pre-made Maxis sims for potential love interests. I moved them into an empty lot in Newcrest, so Daisy will randomly meet them. Here they are. BreeMilesQuinShay5BissenNess ASYLUM CHALLENGE - CHAPTER 1 - DR. HUMBERT HUNTSMAN Dr. Humbert Huntsman looked at the file on his desk. The patient's name was Snow White. He knew the name well and had spent many sleepless nights wondering what to do. You see, Dr. Huntsman knew that Snow White's tale of an Evil Queen trying to kill her was true. But the thing was, it was Dr. Huntsman himself who was supposed to have done the deed. He shook his head and ran his hand through his hair thinking back to how it had all happened. He had been employed by the Evil Queen, or rather blackmailed by her, and had been instructed to take Snow White into the forest to kill her. You see, Dr. Huntsman had used some questionable methods for some anti-aging experiments he had conducted, and somehow the Evil Queen had found out. She had uncovered some files that would threaten his standing in the community, jeopardize his credibility, revoke his doctor's license, and worse, put him in jail. And so, he had entered a bargain with the Evil Queen. She would continue to fund his anti-aging experiments and never mention his secret to anyone, but in exchange, she had asked for one favor...to kill a sim named Snow White. He wasn't quite sure what her motive was, but the Evil Queen seemed to ramble on about Snow White being "the fairest in the land", and she couldn't have that happen. He didn't quite understand, but he had agreed. Yes, he had shamefully agreed to save his own reputation. The Evil Queen knew that Dr. Huntsman had access to lethal injections, and she told him that he should take Snow White into the forest and do the deed there, where no one would see. hen the day came to carry out the plan, the Evil Queen had told Snow White that she had made an appointment for her with Dr. Huntsman for one of his "therapeutic talks" to help Snow White through some of the teen angst she was experiencing. From the description that the Evil Queen had given him, Dr. Huntsman pictured Snow White as a horrible, mean, and irresponsible sim. But when he met her, he found her to be innocent, kind, gentle, sweet, and cheerful. She had told him that her parents had died tragically and that she was under the care of the Queen. She told him that she felt like a servant in her own house and that no matter what she did, she could never seem to please the Queen. Dr. Huntsman realized then that the Evil Queen had been jealous of Snow White, and the Evil Queen's vanity and evilness were the real reasons she wanted Snow White dead. As they walked further into the forest, Dr. Huntsman knew he couldn't kill Snow White. He told her that the Queen wanted her dead out of jealousy, and begged her forgiveness. He told her that she should flee into a deeper part of the forest and find shelter. But in a twist of fate, she had ended up in his hospital under his care. He had found out too late to help her, and her case had already gone before the courts. The judge deemed Snow White "erratic" and ordered her to be sent to an asylum. Dr. Huntsman sighed. He opened the file and wrote some notes. "Patient is suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder which has caused her to become "erratic". She will not harm others and has a generous, trusting, and helpful nature. Given the recent budget cuts at the facility, my findings conclude that her therapy will consist of being in charge of the 7 other residents in the asylum. To cook and clean and care for them. In addition, if she completes 4 tasks (aspirations) to prove her sanity, it is my unwavering opinion that she can re-enter the Simworld again and lead a productive life." He closed the file and gathered up 7 other files. He then called an orderly to bring the patient Snow White for transportation to the asylum. Dr. Huntsman thought for a moment about a fairy tale he had heard in his youth,"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs",mumbled Dr. Huntsman,"...how ironic..." Dr. Humbert Huntsman is actually a Maxis-made sim named Scrubs De Reve.
[Worlds Apart] Generation 2 Coming Soon!
Welcome toWorlds Apart. This is a gameplay where I will experience a different world for each generation. There is no specific storyline and no challenge. I will also be trying many of the different aspirations and careers that go with some of the worlds. Some details for those following along: Lifespan is on Normal. Am not sure if the old Respond As Your Sim game got moved over (can't find it) but loved the old one and so thought I'd start a new version for this forum. As there is currently no Off Topic Chat section, I'll stick it in Creative Corner for now (as it's kind of an exercise in writing character voices too). Same premise: Answer a question in the voice/persona of one of your sims. (Am hoping this will work with the new reply system). Updating this slightly: Have just realised that the Creative Corner section is in the Sims 4 menu, but this game is open to players of any Sims, Sims 2, Sims 3 as well. EDIT: For this game to work, set post display to 'Newest' and answer the question posed in the topmost post. Post replies to questions using the main reply button, not on user's posts. Jumping right in the new forums with a Casting Call for sims. Need 7 sims to participate in the Asylum Challenge. The Asylum Challenge will be played on Hard Mode. All lot traits will be used, except simple living. I will only be controlling my own sim. The rest of the sims will run amuck...er...free in the asylum. The rules for the challenge areHERE 1. Prologue The year is 2014 in a little country called Simerica, whom at the time were locked in an intergalactic war with the Extraterrestrial species known as the Sixamsians...Yeah it was an eventful year. Back then things were a bit too.....vanilla for most people's tastes, I mean for crying out loud, there were only two towns that were inhabitable. One of them being Willow Creek. But the town we're focusing on right now is called Oasis Springs. This is where we'll see characters such as young Katrina Caliente. Here we see Katrina receiving an important letter from The Simerican army about her newlywed husband. "What do you mean my Husband was killed in the battle of Sixam?!" Katrina exclaimed "We were about to have twins, now who's going to help me raise these brats?!" Of course right after Katrina screamed to the heavens it seemed like her prayers had been answered as a total hunk of a man jogged past her. "Oh heeeey" Katrina said seductively as she followed her future boytoy down the street. Just an example of who we could expect to see in this town. Or we can travel to the other side of town and see the newly engaged Geoffrey Smith and Nancy Landgraab having lunch at the local cafe. "Nancy, you have made me the happiest man in the world." Geoffrey gushed. "I can't wait until we walk down that aisle as Mr and Mrs Smith." "Who said we were taking your last name?" Nancy said rather coldly. Geoffrey just chuckled the comment away "Ha, funny joke Nancy.....It was just a joke right?........Right?" Nancy just sat there in silence as Geoffrey's chuckling got a little more nervous with each passing second. But here we'll see the home of our true star of this story, The Baxter residence. Meet Edgar Baxter, born in 1988. He's had no ambitions his entire life but surely now that he's the star of his own story, he'll have his own interesting adventures to take part in. "Me? Oh no, find someone else to be the star, I have nothing interesting going on with my life." Edgar responded. Wait......But you're our protagonist, you can't just refuse to be our main character. Whose life are we going to follow without you in the picture? "Well my wife's about to pop out a baby literally any day now. Perhaps you can focus this story on the kid?" Edgar suggested. Fine, we'll wait patiently for that baby to arrive. He better be pretty interesting Edgar, we've already wasted too much time to go start somewhere else. Meet Aria Baxter, born in 1990. She's lived a pretty unremarkable life just like Edgar here. "Oh thanks, can't wait to hear what you say behind my back." Aria responded with pure snide in her voice. Back then the laws in Simerica were pretty.....strict to say the least, didn't leave much in the way of "content". For instance, swimming pools were banned for quite a while down there. "I know, what's the deal with that?" Aria questioned, "We live out in the plum desert and we're not allowed to go swimming?" If that's not bad enough, back then even ghosts were outlawed! Coming back from the dead as a ghost was not tolerated in the slightest. Look what happened when Edgar's father, Pappy Baxter finally rose from his grave. "Heya kids, I'm finally back!" Pappy exclaimed with pure bliss "When do I get to see that grandchild of mine?" That is when the police showed up out of nowhere, immediately rounding Pappy up and hauling him off to god knows where they brought the ghosts breaking the "No Ghosts" law. "Huh, wonder if we'll ever see my dad again." Edgar questioned. Oh finally, here comes our protagonist. Now we wait patiently for Aria to deliver this baby. "Too bad there aren't any hospitals open anywhere in this country. We're going to have to deliver this baby on the couch!" Edgar said with fear in his voice. So let's finally meet the protagonist of this first generation, Edward Baxter. Aria got right to work taking care of the baby. After all, she's not exactly sure that Edgar will step up and be a responsible father. In fact, Edgar just stood over the bassinet holding his newborn and just slowly turned to the camera.... "Now that's what I call a baby!" Edgar said with a wink before walking away from the child. A few months later, the Baxter family's prayers had been answered. Swimming has been legalized in Simerica, they could now own their own swimming pool. "Hey wait a minute, how can we even afford a swimming pool?" Aria questioned Edgar "Your job at the local McDonald's doesn't pay you well enough to afford something like this!" "Well here's the fun part my dear." Edgar responded with pride in his voice. Turns out the first 'Expansion' to come to Simerica brought forth several job opportunities. Edgar has finally decided to follow his dream of being a police officer. "911 what's your emergency?" Edgar asked as he picked up the distress call "You're being murdered? That's impossible, they can't murder you. That's illegal. This call is reserved for emergencies, Ma'am." No one ever said Edgar would be a good cop. Sometime later, there was a knock on the door of the Baxter residence. Standing at the door was a Sixamsian, native of the planet Sixam (In case you couldn't put two and two together). "Howdy neighbor, don't know if you heard, but the war between our people has come to an end." The Alien said with a smile "This means my kind can live on this planet along side you humans!" "Well I'm always happy to meet new people!" Edgar responded with a firm handshake. The year is now 2016, Edward is now a growing toddler. Aria of course spends her time tirelessly helping develop Edward's growing brain and doing a plum fine job at it I might add. "Off to work, hun." Edgar said as he paced by his family. "What's with the gown?" Aria asked "You wear that to the Station now?" "Of course not, I quit that job. I'm a doctor now." Edgar responded as he headed out the door "They didn't even interview me, they just threw me a scalpel and said they needed new Doctors ASAP." I am now worried about the country's healthcare system. In the year 2020, Edgar was able to buy a bigger house with his Doctor paychecks in Willow Creek Here we see 6 year old Edward, practicing the violin as Aria thought he'd make for a great musician. One day he'll be great, that day isn't today. "What do you mean you just quit your job?!" Aria shouted angrily "I thought you said being a Doctor was your greatest dream!" "Things have changed babe." Edgar responded with pride. "My dream is with The Crew." In the last few years Windenburg went from a village that didn't have indoor plumbing to a sprawling city with a bumping late night scene. Edgar quit his job to join The Crew which was at the time, the most popular group to hit the nightclubs of Windenburg. I don't personally like the fact that Edgar quit his job for this, but by golly, The Crew sure are cooler than cool. It's okay, Edgar eventually matured enough to quit that silly phase and get back to work. Now he's a Scientist. The year is now 2030, Edward is now a strapping 16 year old man. I say 'man' because he'll get angry if you say he's still a kid. Edward still has a lot to learn about the world around him though. "Top of the morning, fellas!" Edward exclaimed to the two punks he wanted to befriend. "Keep walking you dweeb" The punk with the baseball bat ordered. "Ah, sorry for bothering you." Edward said, trying to keep his cool as he runs away in fear. He didn't have the greatest luck with girls back then either. Like here he is with Nina Caliente. "Hey Nina, wanna go to the Rattlesnake Bar tonight?" Edward asked suavely. "Ech, as if." Nina sneered, dejecting him. "How about you, Dina?" Edward said, moving his goalposts over. "Buzz off, creep." Dina responded. Sometime later, Edgar heard a knock at the door. Of course Edgar just had to see who was bothering him. "Hey Neighbor, did you hear about San Myshuno? They finally finished construction on the place. It sure beats the crud out of Willow Creek" Edgar's Neighbor said excitedly. "San Myshuno? Last I heard that was nothing more than a toxic waste dump!" Edgar responded with, "Sounds like the perfect place to bring the family!" He's not wrong, San Myshuno really has stepped up from the toxic waste dump that was once known as a dumping zone for the Mafia only a few decades ago. Now it's a bustling metropolis. That's when the Baxters were approached by a pretty shady looking fellow. What's his name I may ask? "Heya folks, Mayor Victor Feng here. Welcome to San Myshuno!" Mayor Feng said with a warm smile. "Hi Mayor Feng, I'm Edgar Baxter, prominent art critic." Edgar responded with. "Art critic? What happened to science?!" Aria asked. "Well I'll cut to the chase, fella. I might be the Mayor right now but I'm aiming my sights high." Mayor Feng went on, "I'm planning on running for the Presidency, I hope to be the First President of Simerica! I intend to bring a sense of law and order to this lawless country." "Law and Order sounds great, I got mugged four times last week. I only survived the last one because the mugger stabbed me in the scar tissue I had from the time I got stabbed 3 years ago." Edgar explained. "Wait wait wait, none of this makes any sort of sense." Aria interrupted. "You're telling me that Simerica has been an established country for almost a hundred years." She went on "And it's only after we get our first major city that we're finally getting a President? You're telling me for all these decades we've never had a leader of any sort?! Yet we have a Police Force?! Who came up with the laws that the Police follow in this country?" Aria continues to rant. Everyone stood around in complete stunned silence until Victor finally answered. "Well when you say it out loud like that, it sure sounds stupid as sin." Victor says bluntly. However in that moment, a couple of cops rushed the area and handcuffed Aria. "Ma'am, you're under arrest for asking too many stupid questions! Comply or die!" The Cop orders. As Aria is lifted onto the helicopter all we can hear is her screaming. "What did I even do?!" Aria shouts into the sky. Edgar just stood around in silence. "I wonder if I'll ever see her again." Edgar asks with fear.

So, I've decided to start from zero (well, I'm forced to because my thread did not transfer 🙃), publishing and posting all my old content until now, so I can get used to this new format and maybe get some new eyes! I love my story so I'm excited to continue in this new space. Welcome! Welcome to Kev & Get It, the most iconic show to ever air! ...Okay, the most iconic in my particular Sims universe. Kev & Get It is a reality competition show that pits fourteen contestants against each other for fabulous prizes, including money, real estate, and fame. Each contestant must go through many challenges, including those involving their fellow housemates. With whom they are locked in a house, of course. Romance will bloom, alliances will form, and limits will be tested. Each week, one contestant is eliminated and must walk away... in shame. The audience's voice is key to the competition, as it will decide the eliminations. The fan vote is a huge component of the show, and the choices are all yours! And who am I? Well, I am Kev, of course. Reality TV show host extraordinaire, ready to bring only the best in drama, all the way from my screen to yours. And why Kev & Get It? Because it's my show and my name is Kev, so deal with it! JK, my dear friend and I came up with that name and it stuck; it's rather silly, but I've grown quite fond of it. ♥ So get ready for the most exciting reality TV project ever to hit your screens, and join me as we get to watch, and play with, our contestants' lives. Welcome music lovers! In this competition you will be making photos based on your interpretations of songs, or in other words, what they mean to or inspire in you. Your images can be about the entire meaning of the song, just the feeling (as some will lack singing), just snippets of the lyrics, or any hidden messages you hear. Majority of the rounds are free-reign with no specific requirements so your imagination can run wild, and there are also no examples in this comp since it is all about listening and imagining. I will not post majority as embedded videos for various reasons, but I will link to the songs and lyrics so you may click and listen. I will also try my best to avoid music videos, as I want you guys to make edits based on what you think, not what the video is showing (even if some videos have nothing to do with the song). These songs I choose will either be straightforward or confusing, it just depends on what I choose and how you see things. Also, the songs I choose will not be hardcore (so no hardcore rap, screamo, or hardcore metal, etc.), or inappropriate (though some may imply or have a word or two), so that everyone can enjoy the competition, and for future cycles I may do specific eras/genres. Also, please keep in mind that some songs may be sad or even refer to things, like guns, or cheating. These songs though can range from pop, Vocaloid, rap, jazz, rock, Celtic, fantasy, 90’s, classical, epic, swing, or even techno, so having a wide taste and appreciation for music will be a good thing. I will do my absolute best to give you guys a wide variety, though there are some songs that I’ve been dying to see be interpreted, so some genres may appear more than once, it just depends! I hope you enjoy this competition, and who knows, maybe you’ll find a new artist you like. ;) (If you would like to suggest songs, or specific genres/eras for future cycles, please message me!) here. And here are Editing and Modeling Tutorials for those that need it. Be respectful! No fighting, insulting, or belittling yourselves. There is no roleplaying or storytelling required in this comp, unless you choose to do so. Explanations for your photos, when submitting, are recommended and may be required depending on the song chosen (such as songs lacking lyrics). A wide range of music with different themes will be chosen. Please keep this in mind when signing up as we do not want drops just because one or two songs made you uncomfortable for whatever reason. S2/S3/S4 models are allowed. 1 model per contestant, any gender, any size, YA only. No supernatural/fantasy/sci-fi/etc. sims, and no berry sims. Sims can be from previous competitions and must be of your own creation. Remember that we do not alter the genetics in modeling (body shape/features, muscle, fat, etc. or skin color). Besides hair color/style, everything needs to be changed back to normal after the assignment (this includes contacts, tattoos, eyebrows, giving tans, etc.). CC is allowed and recommended, but not required. Editing is optional, but recommended. You are allowed to draw for this comp. Follow Community Rules: No cheating, no copying, no face/body plastering (includes simmerizing). (No photoskinning in this comp. Hair photoskinning is fine if high quality and correctly edited.) Follow Forum Rules: No nudity, no inappropriate content, no excessive blood. If you must do excessive blood or nudity for your assignment, post it on the Simmetry thread instead, or send it to me via pm. Assignments will be 7-10 days long, depending on the song. New rounds will be posted as soon as scoring starts. No eliminations. Redos/resubmissions are not allowed so no one feels that their interpretation is wrong, and changes the idea as a result. Extensions need to be asked for at least 5+ hours in advance. Extensions last for 2 days unless you absolutely need more time, but please state so beforehand so we can work out the time. Late submissions are accepted if you submit before the judges get back to me, but please just ask for an extension instead of being late. If you have not submitted by the time scoring is published, you will automatically receive the lowest rank, which means lowest amount of points for that round. Please avoid dropping or disappearing.
