If there was a community Christmas Lot, you could have a booth like the photo booths in TS3 Seasons (but not a rabbithole) and go in there to meet santa. And your sim gets a picture in their inventory with themselves on santas lap (it could be different funny/cheeky poses if it was an adult going in there). They could chat to him and choose a present from his sack.
They could have a shop there decorated for the festive season with things that sims could buy. And you could have the workbench there for making Christmas toys out of wood. There could be a reindeer area where you could meet reindeer and feed them carrots. And a great big community Christmas tree in the middle where sims would gather round to sing carols.
The village would have to have an "Old timey" feel to it......where there were sleds pulled by horses. You could take one for a few sim dollars and could ride around in the chilly night while the carriage driver sang carols. OH and if the kid was naughty (playing mean tricks or insulting others), the kid could receive coal in their stockings!!! :)
