I think this would be some really cute animation for those who like this kind of stuff. I am HOPING that with the holidays coming that they will have an expansion out by then and this would include a free stuff pack full of holiday wonder! I think in the holiday stuff pack, we ought to be able to 'turn on' certain animations.......like have Santa come into the game.......be able to hear reindeer on the rooftop. Be able to have kiddo's stockings hanging on the fireplace and the whole nine. But most importantly, I wish that they would have Elf on the Shelf (only, because of copy rights and all, they could use some creativeness and call it something else). If you select Elf on the Shelf, he could hide everywhere and the kids who see him could get excited and jump up and down pointing at him. And he could have a "good" aura around him too. With this stuff pack though, I would LOVE to see actions like: 1. Hide gifts2. Make milk and cookies for santa3. Stay up late to watch for santa4. Wake Mom and Dad 5. open gifts6. Put up tree7. Decorate house8. set up toy train9. Ask to sit on santa's lap10. Write santa a letter 11. Sing christmas carols12. Find gifts......those mischievous kids!!13. Go ice skating14. shop for gifts15. Ask kid if they have been naughty or nice16. Make hot chocolate17. Send christmas cards18. Make eggnog19. Sneak into sibling's room.......my sis and I always did this before 6am and then we'd wait for Mom and Dad to get up20. You know what else it would need though? Snow! I guess that one would have to wait a while...

I'm getting a little sad now, though. I'm sure none of this will ever happen and I was just sat here imagining my kid sims looking for reindeer out of the window because they'd heard the jingling on the roof :) Maybe they'd even spot the silhouette of santa and his sleigh off in the distant sky...

But just in case EA love this idea and want more suggestions, I have to add Christmas Pudding! And making mince pies. And hanging Christmas Cards on strings across the walls. And choosing which presents our sims will get to open on Christmas morning. Gotta be able to open a nice new pair of socks :D Or one of those Christmas sweaters from the poll. They could open it and spin into their new socks and sweater lol.

I'd buy a Christmas stuff pack in a heartbeat. Fine and dandy if they throw in some xmas loot with the careers patch (looks like we are expecting at least a christmas jumper to wear) but i'd rather just buy a stuff pack filled with a decent amount of items to really decorate my homes with.

You what would be sweet EA, like a 12 days of Christmas thing where we get a new thing everyday for 12 days. Hope you're taking notes ;)

Oh they will see it......I want to at LEAST try to get this seen by head honchos.......but I think that the best way for anyone to see is to keep this thread going! And yes to all the goodies you could make and I want the kids, before Christmas, to be able to "shake gifts" and "search for your name" with the gifts. And be disappointed in getting clothes instead of toys.....LOL!!

Oh, I've thought of another one! (or two) Having your photo taken on Santa's lap. If there was a community Christmas Lot, you could have a booth like the photo booths in TS3 Seasons (but not a rabbithole) and go in there to meet santa. And your sim gets a picture in their inventory with themselves on santas lap (it could be different funny/cheeky poses if it was an adult going in there). They could chat to him and choose a present from his sack.

They could have a shop there decorated for the festive season with things that sims could buy. And you could have the workbench there for making Christmas toys out of wood. There could be a reindeer area where you could meet reindeer and feed them carrots. And a great big community Christmas tree in the middle where sims would gather round to sing carols.

The village would have to have an "Old timey" feel to it......where there were sleds pulled by horses. You could take one for a few sim dollars and could ride around in the chilly night while the carriage driver sang carols. OH and if the kid was naughty (playing mean tricks or insulting others), the kid could receive coal in their stockings!!! :)

GOSH!!! I thought of another!!! What if the kid decided to try to "hide in Santa's sleigh"? That would be cool. They could have a want to visit Santa's workshop first and then that action would come up.........LOL!!

I always liked xmas where you can molest people unwise enough to walk under dangling, woven traps of my favorite obligate hemiparasitic plant, mistletoe. Tis how I caught daddy kissing Santa Claus.
