TS4 needs Elf on the Shelf

I think this would be some really cute animation for those who like this kind of stuff. I am HOPING that with the holidays coming that they will have an expansion out by then and this would include a free stuff pack full of holiday wonder! I think in the holiday stuff pack, we ought to be able to 'turn on' certain animations.......like have Santa come into the game.......be able to hear reindeer on the rooftop. Be able to have kiddo's stockings hanging on the fireplace and the whole nine. But most importantly, I wish that they would have Elf on the Shelf (only, because of copy rights and all, they could use some creativeness and call it something else). If you select Elf on the Shelf, he could hide everywhere and the kids who see him could get excited and jump up and down pointing at him. And he could have a "good" aura around him too. With this stuff pack though, I would LOVE to see actions like:

1. Hide gifts
2. Make milk and cookies for santa
3. Stay up late to watch for santa
4. Wake Mom and Dad
5. open gifts
6. Put up tree
7. Decorate house
8. set up toy train
9. Ask to sit on santa's lap
10. Write santa a letter
11. Sing christmas carols
12. Find gifts......those mischievous kids!!
13. Go ice skating
14. shop for gifts
15. Ask kid if they have been naughty or nice
16. Make hot chocolate
17. Send christmas cards
18. Make eggnog
19. Sneak into sibling's room.......my sis and I always did this before 6am and then we'd wait for Mom and Dad to get up
20. Read 'Twas The Night Before Christmas

Feel free to add to the list if you want to!! :)
  • Definitely think they should include christmas parties. Felt like in TS3 Seasons when they did the gift giving party I just thought that was more of a personal thing to do and not invite the neighbors over, Although, if they were family yeah that'd be okay. But I think opening gifts on "Snowflake Day" should be something within the household and family members but a christmas party is something I'd love to see.

You know what else it would need though? Snow! I guess that one would have to wait a while...

I'm getting a little sad now, though. I'm sure none of this will ever happen and I was just sat here imagining my kid sims looking for reindeer out of the window because they'd heard the jingling on the roof :) Maybe they'd even spot the silhouette of santa and his sleigh off in the distant sky...

But just in case EA love this idea and want more suggestions, I have to add Christmas Pudding! And making mince pies. And hanging Christmas Cards on strings across the walls. And choosing which presents our sims will get to open on Christmas morning. Gotta be able to open a nice new pair of socks :D Or one of those Christmas sweaters from the poll. They could open it and spin into their new socks and sweater lol.

Plenty of places have Christmas without snow -- here in the SF Bay Area (my home and home of EA), you have to drive about 4 hours to the Sierras to see significant snowfall. (Good skiing up there, at least when we're not in the middle of a drought.)

I've got so many family members scattered around the game I could have a good party just inviting relatives. Heck, my baby daddy Sim could have one just on his own inviting his baby mommas and all the kids. B)

I would love an Elf on the Shelf.

They would though need to include other winter holidays in terms of decorations and/or animations. Must be politically correct.

I wouldn't mind a dreidel for kids to play with, or a menorah for the dining table (maybe with a Light Candles animation). Maybe even some special holiday recipes?

To add, I would love it if you could go shopping for gifts, using your simoleons, wrap them, and then give them. They could even have whims to see the other happy about their gift!

If they put all this stuff in the game and include family parties at Xmas, and throw in a few other parties(baby shower) I would soooooo be into Sims4.

I love the idea of stringing lights on the tree, and opening/shaking gifts! That would be so cool :p
  • i would love this idea! We haven't got a Christmas pack or gifts in awhile! instead of giving us knitting, they should give us more Christmas things! I absolutely love all your ideas!

I love Christmas, the trees, decorations & spending time with my friends & family. I love all the Christmas ideas & hope that MAXIS will want to reward us loyal Sims 4 players with a thank you free Christmas gift. Just an idea.
