They could easily create a GP containing MUSIC/BANDS and FASHION DESIGN. It could add to and benefit from Get Famous or work as a stand alone if you don't have GF (but, of course, your sim won't gain fame but they could still progress in that career).
MUSIC/BANDS
This could expand singing to a career with duets and groups like a choir or quartet. It could come with a recording studio and a concert venue.
Bands could get gigs at local bars or play in the parks. Maybe there could be a small singing competition your sim could enter. There would be new instruments for rock/country bands and small orchestras. I'd love to have a harp and be able to hire a harpist for my fancy dinner parties.
FASHION DESIGNER
The fashion design career could expand on the photo studio object to include a career and fashion photography. The design side could use the sketch book and add a sewing machine to design your own clothes. There could be a set number of blank coats, shirts, pants, shoes, etc. that your designer sim could color using a limited color wheel and stamps and add embellishments like fringe or feathers or whatever. The designer could, at a high level, put on a fashion show and design all the outfits that hang on a special rack and hire a photographer and models. As a model, your sim would hire a photographer to create a "book" of modeling shots which could be updated with more modeling experience and land you more jobs. Then, with book in hand, the model goes on "GO SEE'S" to book jobs, some of which are rabbit hole jobs.
After the first pet dlc for dlc uproar - you can forget them ever expanding any more packs. Heck we will be lucky to ever see another stuff pack. EA don't repeat things that cause uproars usually - so we made our choice when we had a fit over the first dlc for an ep why on earth would they revisit that?
Oh, no way! That would be such an immature of a game company to do.
Other good game companies would take the criticism and learn from their mistakes and make better products (hopefully). They don’t go around “punishing” their customers for making (what I feel are valid) complaints.
If that’s the reason why we’re getting limited content and they’re actually trying to punish us, then maybe I don’t want to support a company for a “punishing” practice like that. :frowning:
I’m going to keep asking, and so will many other simmers, and the company KNOWS their fan base is passionate and persistent about this stuff, so it’s up to them to take responsibility and do the good quality games that their customers want.
Otherwise, they got to face the music and learn to be mature when dealing with the backlash.
