It’s been raining most of this summer, but I won’t complain. Elsewhere on the globe, everything is on fire. A saying goes – There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing. I think this still applies in my country.
Although the rain might make one dream of going somewhere else, I have enjoyed my summer in Denmark. I have enjoyed some lovely sunny holiday days with family and friends in between the rain showers in different parts of my country.
I have read very little Simlit and written even less. The last few days I’ve been thinking a lot about how to get back on track. For me, sims means primarily play, reflection and creative expression. Therefore, please do not take this spinoff as anything more than a bit of casual experimental play. This is significantly more silly than my usual stuff. My intention is primarily to rediscover my characters and give me inspiration to write.

Well, I’m finally back in Tusnelda’s universe. There should be no doubt that I have many plans for the story on the drawing board and in the middle of it all the Horse Ranch expansion pack was released. I was completely seduced by the neighborhood and have lots of pictures with the landscape and sunsets in all colors in my archive. As my header image suggests, part of the chapter will therefore take place in Chestnut Ridge. In addition to Tusnelda and Martin’s riding challenges, it is especially the many beautiful prospects that fill this chapter.
If it sounds boring, I can promise that another character has some challenges that can fill the void…or perhaps more precisely the opposite.

Using today’s feature image as an illustration for a chapter called Babyshower is perhaps a bit of a joke. However, it tells us that we will meet Fatima and Elijah in this chapter. I might end up focusing a little too much on them, because it always strikes me that they rarely take their eyes off each other. I love seeing them together. Instead, I should focus more on Rasmus and Izumi, who have a real baby shower on the agenda. I promise they won’t be forgotten and maybe we’ll see a little bit of Don too.
Until we get there, the chapter picks up where we last left off in Chestnut Ridge where Tusnelda and Martin are still on vacation.

In today’s episode, I take several of the men in the story under loving care – some of them in an ironic sense. Female cunning contributes to the fact that some truths can no longer be kept hidden. The choice is whether you want to stand up for yourself or hide.
Thoughts about offspring are mentioned in some sections, which is the reason why Tusnelda and Martin do not appear in this chapter. I think they deserve some peace.
Instead, Don is back in the spotlight. As I hinted in the last chapter, Don soon faces a fateful challenge and an important choice.
Chapter 82 - Waxintegral2 years agoSeasoned AceYou began the chapter with Don, you ended it with Delphine. I think I can see where you're going with this...

I will confess that this chapter has had an incredibly difficult birth. Six weeks ago I had a clumsy fall in a dark cinema, resulting in a sprained finger. It has kept me from using my computer mouse for many weeks. After my finger healed I redid this chapter multiple times. Deleted pictures, took new pictures, deleted sections and inserted new sections. It’s like my long break made me lose the common thread.
Now I’m back with new stories about Tusnelda and Rasmus’ everyday life. This of course also includes the members of their households. As the title suggests, someone achieves great results.
The chapter ends with a small spinoff, but other than that I’ve kept butterflies out of the action.

Everything indicates that it will be a really lovely day. This is what the morning looks like for all of the chapter’s characters. One of those days you wish would go on forever.
Whether it will continue like this throughout the day is always a question that must remain unanswered for now. However, I can reveal that there is one single thing at the end of the chapter that is going to disturb me more than planned. Let’s get started.

This is in many ways a failed project. When I choose to publish this special edition anyway, it is because these headstrong Sims have once again shown me that not even a fairy can control the world. There is an important lesson in that.
How to keep the New Year’s spirit - MonaSolstraale2 years agoSeasoned Ace
As the header image suggests, it’s finally time for Rasmus and Izumi’s wedding. A large part of this chapter is about this celebration. It will be a follow up to most of the characters in this story. Especially Tusnelda and Martin and not least Don. Don must learn that there are both disadvantages and advantages to sharing an address with a curious boy like Fabio.
The chapter contains a minor episode with Elijah after the cat Ambrosius has become part of his household. There was more planned that I have edited away, otherwise this chapter will be unreasonably long. I’ll have to take that later.
