Tutorial: Moving Sims In From the Gallery Without Money Cheats
This is especially for a current game with an active household.
Purpose: To gain new neighbors /NPCs without cheats.
Scenarios:
*The Sims in your game are getting 'stale' and are no longer interesting.
*Your Children / Teens need more friends and there are very few if any other Child/Teen Sims in your game.
*I had a save with a grand total of three Children and two of them were mine!
*There are no longer any suitable Sims to become housemates/marry to carry on your family.
What to Do:
Go to the either online The Sims Gallery or in game via Manage World.
Select one or more households and Add them to your Library. This will make them easier to find.
Once you have found what you want go into Live Mode with your active household.
Travel to a lot *next to* the one where you want your new Sims to live.
Select the lot you want and you will see options to either Visit/Travel to or Move In From Gallery.
Choosing Move in From Gallery will take you to the Gallery where you can now select the household from your Library.
Viola! You now have new neighbors.
Manage Worlds can be used to restyle them if you wish.
Edit to Add: You can also do this by selecting an existing household to either add to or replace the current household.
When choosing to replace the household the current Sims are moved to Not In World population.
