Since this story has grown so much bigger than I ever imagined I feel like its time to borrow a page from some of my favorite SimLit writers and offer you a synopsis of the characters and my thoughts on where to start for first time readers. With that said lets meet the cast shall we...
The Main Cast
Danielle and Londyn Huntley
Danielle(L) is a romance novelist. She was born and raised in Willow Creek with her lifelong friends Summer Holiday and Liberty Lee. She moved to Tartosa searching for her muse. She had seen all the stories about how romantic Tartosa is and she felt there could be no better place to inspire her to write thrilling romances. So she packed up and moved. Tartosa has been all that she had hoped for and so much more. It was where she met Londyn Huntley, at the time an actress from Sulani, and the love of her life. They live on the little island lot at the southern tip of Tartosa. Both are Starlight Accolades winners and their careers are really taking off, even though Danielle is currently searching for a new publisher.
Summer Holiday and Darian LaRue
Summer grew up next door to the Chabert's and Lee's. She has been friends with both as long as they can remember. Summer is a talented chef and with some coaxing from Danielle she joined her friend in Tartosa. Since she's arrived her career has taken off and she met her lover Darian. Darian was a Dotcom wonder boy along with some buddies in college. They decided to sell their lucrative Dotcom business to a larger tech company, pocket the money and take a break for a while. He arrived in Tartosa planning for it to only be stop number one on a globe hopping journey, but after falling in love with Summer he's decided to stay right here with her. They are about to launch their own web based cooking show that they plan to film in their home.
Liberty and Matteo Rossi
The third member of the Willow Creek expats. Her life was turned upside down by Travis Scott. He tried to take advantage of her and then lied to try and focus blame all on her. The fallout from that saw Travis booted out of the house, Summer finally answering Danielle calls to join her in Tartosa and left Liberty by herself in Willow Creek. She realized her dreams of being an astronaut were never going to happen so with a little nudge from Bella Goth she became a secret agent. On a trip to visit her friends in Tartosa she met Matteo and her life really changed. He was a hard partying play boy, or so he pretended. That lifestyle put him on the outs with his family and was threatening to wreck his dreams. He was instantly taken by Liberty and she saved him. They are now engaged and live in a lovely home overlooking the bay in Tartosa. Liberty is a star at S.I.M.S. where she is one of their lead investigators, and Matteo is back on track to realize his dream of owning his own restaurant.
The Supporting Cast
Allegra Rossi
Matteo's younger sister. She is fiery, feisty, sassy, and stylish. She lives in Windenburg and is a singer with the local opera company. She knows how to play Matteo like violin to get him to do things he should do but doesn't always want to. She is ready to slap sense into him if need be. Don't take that the wrong way, she adores her big brother and his fiancé. She has gone out of her way to welcome Liberty into the Rossi family. She currently lives in Windenburg and is a singer with the local opera company there. She dreams of one day coming home to sing with the Tartosa opera.
Izabella Bernard
Izabella is an aspiring businesswoman. She has plans to create her own line of clothing and makeup. She has worked as both a model and an actress to earn some money and make contacts to help her reach her goals. She also has a business degree so she is more than just a pretty face. She used her education to turn the money she made from modeling and acting into the seed money for a good life and to get her business going. She had a brief fling with Leonardo not long ago when she was in Windenburg, and later Tartosa, on business. She was unaware of his dating Summer at the time and she also thought she had seen the last of him when she returned home. Izabella is no fool but she admits she has a habit of making and choices in men, a trait she got from her mother.
Leonardo Ricci
A former friend and roommate of Matteo's who briefly dated Summer until she realized he was more interested in himself than her. He is a first class weasel and a raging misogynist who had his former friends in Tartosa fooled. After Matteo fell in love with Liberty they asked him to move out so that they could be alone together as they started their life together. Liberty had broken Leonardo's spell over Matteo when she rescued him from the party crowd. Quietly seething at Liberty and Matteo for ending his free ride on their dime he sought out an easy mark he could con into supporting him, Izabella. He turned up at her door recently full of charm and lies. He thinks because he got in good with Izabella once before that she will easily fall for his con. She took him in, but he's in for a shock. She's not the dummy he thinks she is. She has every reason to believe he's conned other women and she wants to put an end to it before he does it to her or another unsuspecting woman.
Hannah Taylor
A 5 Star chef who recently beat out Summer for the job of host of a new Foodie Network cooking Show. Hannah is Summer's shero and she works hard to open doors for other women to follow in her footsteps. She is going to mentor Summer and help her reach the same heights.
S.I.M.S. Director Shantel Bridges
Liberty's boss and a tough but fair one. She has a reputation around S.I.M.S. Headquarters as the Dragon Lady. It is a carefully crafted facade that keeps certain troublemakers in line or at a distance. The agents who work under her see a different side, but make no mistake she expects nothing less than their absolute best. If they give her that she will do anything for them.
Venessa Jeong
Londyn's friend and fellow actress. She is quite the comedienne and famously caused merry chaos when she officiated Londyn and Danielle's wedding. She later admitted to Londyn, that she intentionally, and hilariously, flubbed her part.
If you are new to this story after reading the bios above you can jump in anywhere really and not feel too lost. I will offer my list of chapters I think will help get you into the story and I will include the page number where it can be found.
I would suggest starting with Chapter 6 (page 2) where we see Danielle reveal the depth of her love for Londyn. Next I would suggest Chapter Fourteen Parts One and Two (page 6), this explains the rift that used to exist between Londyn and her parents and their reconciliation after learning of her engagement to Danielle. It is a wonderful story of mending relationships and acknowledging wrongs and coming back together in the spirit of love and understanding.
After that if you're interested in Venessa's virtuoso comedy wedding officiating you will need to read Chapter 20 (page 8). It's not something you have to read to get into the story but as time goes by I think her part gets funnier and funnier.
The next chapter you should read is Chapter 22 (page 10), where you get a glimpse into Matteo's wayward period and how Liberty pulls him back from the brink and then I you can carry on with the remaining 9 or 10 chapters that will catch you up to where the story is as we prepare to ring in 2023.

Following their spectacular wedding, Danielle and Londyn left the warmth and sunshine of Sulani for the cold and snow of Mt. Komorebi on the first leg of their honeymoon. It's a trip Londyn had dreamt about from time to time. Being raised in Sulani, four seasons are a strange new reality for Londyn. Sulani only has two seasons, hot in the fall and winter and hotter in spring and summer. And now, when the weather turns cool in Tartosa, it's not really all that bad. Snow was something that only happened on TV and ice was something you put in your drink. Pictures of snowy scenes always seemed so romantic to both Danielle and Londyn, it was the perfect place to have an unconventional honeymoon.
Mother Nature gave them a wedding gift. Just as they were arriving at their rental house the first flakes began to fall. This was a treat for Londyn since it was the first time in her life she had ever seen it snow. After settling in, and playing in the snow, a visit to the Onsen was just the thing. After the trip and weeks of preparations for their wedding, Danielle and Londyn were looking forward to relaxing in the famous warm spring water. Before their honeymoon wound down Danielle and Londyn went hiking. It was quite the shock. Up on Mt. Komorebi it was endless snow and bitter cold. Down in the town, summer wasn't letting go. There was a late fall heatwave to greet them. It's a good thing that they listened to advice from people who had visited there at that time of year. The ladies were prepared for the weather in town, even though it was a bit uncomfortable getting out of and back into their lodgings.

Back into after their hike they happened upon the Festival of Youth. Danielle couldn't help thinking about the scene. Their time in Mt. Komorebi was coming to an end. The next stop was Henford-on-Bagley. It was right in front of the Gnome's Arms pub where Danielle knew her love for Londyn was real, that Londyn was the only one she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. To share every moment of joy, of pain, every high, every low, everything.
When they arrived it was if Mother Nature had arranged the weather just for them, sunny and warm. Very unlike the normal autumn weather in Henford. They rented a cottage on Nettle Lane. They quickly stowed their luggage and made a beeline for the village. https://i.imgur.com/0AdVeOA.png
Their stay in Henford wasn't going to be a long one, and Danielle wanted go back and stand on the spot where she realized what true love was, and share the moment with her soulmate.
"I was standing right here, on this very spot, when I knew without a doubt I wanted you in my life forever. I had been trying to sort through my thoughts and emotions ever since we met on the beach in Tartosa. I'd never been in love with another woman before and it was all a bit confusing. But as the days went by, I was becoming surer and surer that it was right. Every time you were near, my heart beat faster and I couldn't keep my eyes off you. I couldn't think about anything but you, and I knew I didn't want to. Nothing else in this world mattered to me but being near you. To feel the touch of your hand, to look into your eyes, and I found it harder and harder to do anything when you weren't there. You were standing over there by the gate talking to Summer and Liberty, and like a wave it hit me, I knew if it was the last thing I ever did I was going to be with you and never leave your side. I'm an author. I make my living with words. But even I cannot find the words to truly explain how much I love you. The nice weather held throughout the day. The ladies were able to go for a walk through the Bramblewood and enjoy the scenery. That evening they headed back into the village for the Finchwick Fair. Unlike the last time they were at the Fair, the exhibits were rather poor. There were other, more interesting things to do back on Nettle Lane.

With their honeymoon at an end, it was back to Tartosa...and a bit of a surprise. Summer and Matteo stopped by to ask about the honeymoon, and in his case, deliver a surprise. Matteo excused himself for a few minutes to allow the ladies to talk.

After the laughter died down. Matteo got down to business. He announced his plans to propose to Liberty, a fact that Summer had already been clued in on.
"I have the perfect spot picked out. It has a lot of memories for me, it's very special. It's full of memories of happy times from my when I was a child and teenager, before life took a turn for the worse. You did a marvelous job of revision. Redrafts don't always have to be the way to go. I was less shocked with this version. Nice job.
I don't have anything to compare it to since I missed the original but I don't see how it could have topped this version. You're a wonderful storyteller and know how to keep your readers wanting more.
@simgirl1010 @GalacticGal Thank you both so much for those sweet words. My heart really wasn't into doing a total reshoot, but I didn't want to leave that part of their story blank. Thankfully it was just a minor edit. But it did give me a chance to add a little bit to the story and make it that little bit better.
I just hope from now on if I see angel food cake I won't start blushing or doubling over from laughter.?

I had everybody together for some last minute planning. Londyn grabbed her laptop and was ready to make reservations for the big surprise, when it hit me. I haven't come up with a name for the ristorante where the proposal is going to happen. I have had a ball wasting the last two hours googling ideas and inspirations for names to give a romantic little Italian eatery.?
Edit: When I originally placed that little restaurant it was only going to be there long enough to shoot the proposal and maybe stick around for a short time afterward. I've used that lot for a couple of different venues during the story so far. Now after putting all the effort into renovations it's going to become a permanent fixture. I've started working on a backstory for the place. I do have a name, Mantegazza's Cucina Toscana, if I used Google translate correctly that is Mantegazza's Tuscan Kitchen. The backstory will tell the story of the family that founded, owns, and runs the place. That means some new characters at some point. My cast continues to grow.?

I've had jury duty this week and I haven't been into the game because of it. I'm done and hoping I can get back in the swing of my story. I've been experimenting with the big scene and I'm going to have to go to Plan B. It's actually more like maybe I'll have to go that route, but it isn't looking great for my original idea.
I did notice something weird and it's probably mod related. I merged all three households into one so I could have control over everybody. When I did that and joined the new mega-household, Danielle suddenly had a sad moodlet saying someone had hurt her feelings. But I couldn't figure out who. I used my cheats to remove it and then I sent the ladies on ahead to the restaurant. When they get seated, suddenly buried way down in Danielle's stack of moodlets she had an angry one about somebody physically hurting her. I was puzzled and started around the table checking the others and Summer had a simmering rage moodlet for the same thing.
They had recently been together at the Huntley residence and I had been with them the whole time and nothing happened, everybody had a fun time sitting around the kitchen table just having a girls gab session. I exited without saving, went back in and had everybody gather again but I didn't merge the households and there's no sad or angry moodlets. Everything is fine. It's a love fest, everybody is cool with everybody else. I merged the households in manage households since I haven't reinstalled MCCC. Something strange is happening whenever I merge the households into one. Awhile back I mentioned an angry moodlet between two very friendly sims in my werewolf save, and thinking back that moodlet popped up after I merged households in that save too.
