I know this sounds like old cliche , but truth is, answer to your dilemma is what you want yourself 🙂 If you want to restart again, then you do it. Like Rosemow said, we play for fun and enjoying it is the way often distract us from real life issues. 😊
Thank you, and yes it can be a nice distraction when real life gets too rough. My reason for switching, sadly, turned out to be a bust. The mod I was interested in is broken. (And here it had just been updated, too.) Seems it couldn't get passed the last update. Oi! Oh, well. I may continue on with this earlier save, anyway, as it is far more interesting than what is going on in my current save. I've played it for at least four gaming sessions, and a story just hasn't presented itself. Plus, the doppelganger (in the picture only) has returned. I tried to solve it with information on the 'Net, and although I reset Kayleigh, it now says Not Found. 🤥
Oh, she's been there when I play the game, and thankfully there is only one of her, but seeing her twice on the picture next to the save really, really, really bugs me. I know, I'm a bit of a strange bird. But it just may be I need to alter the future events of this family, you know?
I shall give it another good think. I'm so grateful for both of you for weighing in. Ellupelluellu rosemow. Would you like story updates if I continue on in the Way Back machine?

Writing is the thing you enjoy to do, to be honest it sounds unbelievable to me , that you would just play, without sharing 😊
I suppose I am similar, those times I used to play the way that story was in my own head only, not shared in any way, seem so long ago.. and not only seem, that time IS long ago 😊 So, what I mean to say, is..
Sure, do updates if you, yourself, feel like you want to, and have the energy to do those.😊 Of course I only can talk for myself, but I will read.

Oh, I hear you there. Writing is like breathing to me. I just didn't want to leave those of you who have faithfully been following my story to wonder why the writing suddenly stopped, you know? I value my readers very much. So, thank you.
