I've been playing around with dine out though, with mods and such, and it's v. hard to decrease the wait times to something more realistic, but it's a start. I definitely like the sweet shop idea though, and I *hate* skate rinks irl (I'm the one that clings onto the edges and insists they're gonna die) but it would be cool if they introduced it to the sims.
yes I know you can use dine out to order ice cream but it still wouldn't be like an ice cream shop because of the long wait time and maitred
also they don't have that many kinds of soda they need a soda fountain and an npc job soda jerk
