There are so many venues that would be incredible to have in TS4 that would make our worlds feel more alive and diverse. These are my wish list venues:

* Beauty Salon- new gameplay objects- beauty station and tattoo parlor- active career- Stylist- our sims could own their own beauty salon where they can style NPCs with new hairstyles, makeup, tattoos and facial piercings.

* Grocery Store- we can already cheat around a grocery store, but it would be great to have a grocery store/farmer's market where our sims could go and purchase rare ingredients.

* Catwalk (with the ability to create design studios on residential lots)- sims can become a fashion designer and design Collections and hire models to showcase their Collections on the catwalk. Our sims could hire the model (up to 5 models for the limit), a photographer, and a host for the fashion shows.

* Theater of the Arts (not a movie cinema)- a place where sims can go to watch plays, dance, or watch the opera. This would also open up new active careers such as Actor, Dancer and Singer careers. We could design the sets for the theater, choreograph the dance, and select the type of music our sims sing during the show.

* Arena- for our athletes a venue where sims can play professional sports or an active career- Professional Athlete- to perform a series of different types of sporting events- Basketball, Ice Hockey, and Soccer.

I've been playing around with dine out though, with mods and such, and it's v. hard to decrease the wait times to something more realistic, but it's a start. I definitely like the sweet shop idea though, and I *hate* skate rinks irl (I'm the one that clings onto the edges and insists they're gonna die) but it would be cool if they introduced it to the sims.

Before Dine Out, a friend of mine made an ice cream shop using GTW's retail system. Worked great other than elder Sims who showed up kept dying, including employees. Or just offer stuff like burgers and hot dogs (including the veggie versions) and a couple of simple appetizers and drinks (maybe just non-alcoholic stuff like iced tea or water, then list all the ice creams for dessert. I've heard if you have a couple of ice cream makers in the kitchen that makes service faster, but not sure if that's just an Urbz legend. :)

With skating (ice and roller) coming in Seasons, I'm converting my Old Salt House howling lanes into a roller skating center; it'll be a good place to get out of the rain and I've got two other bowling alleys anyway (one in Oasis Springs and the other at Magnolia Promenade).

And you can add your own cartoony animal animatronics,too! Maybe we would be able to choose the animal breed,the clothes,the colors and any props/musical instruments..customize your animatronic just like we can customize our pets!

If only the gurus gave us a new patch that allowed for 'custom venue' that gave us the ability to create any type of venue we wanted into our neighborhood. This way we could create actual outlet malls that our sim owned or could shop at.

We could use in a drop-down list everything the new venue offered:
* Bakery
* Coffee Shop
* Library
* Restaurant
* Bar

This way we could then create the ultimate coffee shop where sims could purchased baked goods, grab a latte, purchase a great read or work on a novel, while ordering a 5-star dish while listening to someone recite poetry, showoff their piano skills, or perform a comedy act.

I would looove that!

A county fair, or carnival. Would be good in a farming pack, and an Autumn event. Rides like ferris wheels, small roller coasters. A fun house. Games include; ball toss, strength test, dunking booths, others. Pie eating contests, cow and pig judging contests. A beauty pagent to judge Miss, Sim. Foods include; corn dogs, funnel cakes, barbeque.
