I would take it in a heartbeat if that meant that we did not have to have cell phones as another appendage attached to our sims or that they would no longer be obsessed with technology!
But, they'd have to totally change how the randos were done though, a Victorian (or Regency or any other historical era) world would need to have the NPCs (including randoms walking around) be dressed accordingly, rather than showing up in swimming flippers a top hat and tutu!
