Water heaters kit or BG update concept

Gameplay:

Water heaters:

Sims now will have water heaters for the first time in the series. There will be two different water heaters: a propane operated (box/rectangle shape) that requires a propane tank and the electric water heater (cylindric/drum shape). Both wall hanged. The performance and issues will be the same for both, but the cost of heating water with each will be different, along with other details for Eco Lifestyle owners.

Electric water heater will be expensive but eco friendly, and will consume the same energy like the rest of appliances and electronic devices, now listed as "electricity" instead "energy", while the propane/gas operated heater will be cheaper and will consume a cheap energy resource but that will affect the Eco Footprint.

Water heater will impact in the options of showers and bath in the house lot. Also, plumbing items like sink, toilet and shower will affect the actions of the Sims.

For example, if a Sim is having a shower and other Sim in the same lot uses the toilet, the Sim in the shower will be affected due the water pressure variation receiving a hot water stream, having a bad moodlet.

Water heaters can have malfunctions like water leaks or thermostat issues. If the thermostat is broken, the options for shower or bath will be random until fixing it.

There will be at least 2 upgrade options and 1 EP compatible:

-Pressure valve to avoid problems with other plumbing items during a shower and water leaks from the heater.
-Better thermostat to have the right water temperature and all the options avalables.
-Solar heater, compatible with Eco Lifestyle if a solar panel is placed in the lot as a off-the-grid option for both heaters.

Despite the upgrades like all other appliances and electronic devices, water heaters can broke but can be fixed. However, it will requires a level 6 or above handiness skill.

Water heaters will be sorted in Kitchen -> Small Appliances and Appliances -> Misc

Propane tanks:

Propane tank will be a item for the lots that uses the regular gas operated heater. Also, placing a propane tank, other appliances like the stove and oven will consume propane instead electricity.

Propane will be listed in the bill details as "gas" consume as a cheaper energy resource for heater and other appliances, but it can affect the Eco Footprint (for Eco Lifestyle owners). Also, gas operated heater is also cheaper than the electric one.

The only upgrade for propane tanks will be the pressure valve, to avoid leaks that can lead in fire hazard.

Propane tanks will be sorted in Outdoor -> Outdoor Activities and Appliances -> Misc

Activation

Like Laundry Day, placing a water heater item in the lot will activate the water heating system. Also, placing a propane tank in the lot, will activate the propane consume by appliances like the stove and oven. Both options can be deactivated in the Game Pack menu.

Cross compatibility with EP:

For Eco Lifestyle owners, propane/gas operated heaters will affect the Eco Footprint. Also, the solar panel heater upgrade will be available.

For Seasons owners, solar heater upgrade for both solar panels will works better during summer or hot wather days.

For Laundry Day owners, dryer machine can be upgraded with a gas operated option.
