We desperately need a hotel/resorts expansion pack for the summer this year.

Good ideas. I'm also hoping for hotels.

I hope we get hotels too. I hope we can visit them like the hotels in sims 2 or the restaurants in sims 4. I want to see the inside, to edit them, to set up staff clothing, star rating,... .

Omg yes it's been over over 8 years and we didn't get a hotel we had vacation esque worlds like Sulani and Mount Komo. Just imagine those worlds but with hotels wouldn't it be a vacation location instead Bantu and JA. I mean don't get I love JA but I would like my Sims more relaxed vacation like Sims 2 Bon Voyage it was great and they were relaxed and it was fun.
I would like a Las Vegas world, Florida world, New York world, Tokyo, Italian, France, London, Australia, Africa.

Yes, if the Sims 4 finishes without adding hotels that would be really disappointing.

I would also like the ability to visit or run a bed and breakfast.

I’m hoping for resorts so we can add other stuff like pools, gyms, spas, restaurants, shops, clubs, etc. Hotels are usually only for sleeping.

We need Hotels for the reason it would add more pool items and booked honeymoons.

I was just saying in another thread that I would love to have hotels and apartment buildings. I spent several months living in a building that was both a hotel and apartment complex. It later converted to just apartments I think. I'm not sure though. It was in Guam. It had small kitchens, a washer dryer combo in the room, weird bedrooms with huge windows (not near the exterior of the building) and curtains. Allowed for privacy but the curtains weren't blackout so light would come through. It was called Alupang Beach Tower. There were small balconies outside sliding glass doors. A pool and hot tub on one of the floors (you could see it from the balconies of some of the rooms). Parking garage in the sub-level and a restaurant on the main level. There was a main lobby that led back to the restaurant and a locked door that could only be opened by hotel staff leading to stairs and elevators to the rooms/apartments. People could get room service or go down to the restaurant. There were docks out back where there were boats that would take residents out fishing/cruising. Fish that were caught could be brought to the restaurant and cooked.

It was a nice setup. They had connected rooms so families could be almost in the same unit. My parents got a unit with one bedroom that was walled off from the rest of the "apartment space". It had solid walls. I'm fuzzy on the layout as its been over 20 years now. There were doors connecting it to the unit my brother and I were in, which had the two bedrooms with glass windows on 2 sides. I'm trying to find pictures.

Bedrooms with windows & curtains (for some reason I remember the windows being larger- I mostly remember the light coming in and annoying me)- you can see washer dryer combo in a little closet-- this is very similar to the room I was in for several months

Hotels could be places where sims could work, own, live, or all of the above.

I genuinely wouldn't mind if they even made a world for it similar to Sims 1 Vacation. three neighborhoods: 1 snowy/mountain, 1 beach/tropical, and one is more fall/forest-like. That way you have options. OR it can be a basic small beachy/tropical world, but you have the option to play the resort lot type in any world you have.

Same! I would love to have sims run a small quaint B&B.
