A couple years ago or something I posted a discussion begging for new instruments. A couple years later I am STILL begging for new instruments. Even if it comes in the form of a game pack or stuff pack, I'll pay for it. JUST PLEASE. Only having the piano, guitar, and violin is nowhere NEAR enough in terms of music. We need all the orchestral/concert instruments! I'm talking woodwinds and brass and the rest of the string family. It'd also be cool if there was a different musical career path, like to be an orchestral musician rather than a rock star. Something that follows a more traditional instrumental path than like a vocalist. Y'all leave more music ideas below and pray that the creators read this and take it into consideration.

I'd love to have more instruments too! Clarinet, saxophone, drums, harp, cello, trombone, etc. But I would be happy with only one or two Added to the game :)

I would count the DJ thingy as an instrument as well, but yes, more ways of making music are always welcome! They should only come with new skills if they are really new instruments, though, because I still find it weird that Piano and Pipe Organ are two different skills even though the corresponding instruments play pretty much the same.I'd love to have drums, harps, and flutes in the game. And while we're at it, can we please get a smaller version of the piano (that isn't a keyboard)? I'm currently using a CC piano that looks like the wooden thing from TS2 to make up for that oversight.

I have always wanted a harp added! I am a harpist, and whenever I try to make my Sim-self, it always feels incomplete without the harp!!!!

I would love drums, I miss them from TS3; and the ability to have a band. I would also love a Harp. Lute, and Flute. But added to this, I would LOVE a Shamisen, and a Ichigenkin (both from Japan).

Along with those instruments we desperately need more dances. For sims to be so party focused where are the variety of dances?

I wonder if they'll ever get around to it. It's sure not in Discover University, nor do they seem like they're intending to do such given the latest release in packs. Might have to wait until Sims 5.

Lol, that's the truth. Although I got to play contrabassoon for a semester and while I'm grateful for the experience I think I'll pass on the instrument myself in the future.

Apparently they still plan to go on for quite some time with The Sims 4. I honestly have no clue what themes they'll tackle from here on out, but hopefully something will bring us more instruments.
