We need more lots!!

I once decided to move one of each of the types of venues into NewCrest and put houses where they used to be in the other worlds. It takes time, and when I found myself having to restart that game save, I haven't spent the time doing the same again, although I did prefer it that way. To me it was the downtown shopping District. But, we DO need more lots. I would be highly in favor of another empty world such as NewCrest. Too bad players can't create their own the way we could in Sims2. Once I got brave enough to do so, that was the only neighborhood I played. I often downloaded player-made worlds in Sims3, as well.
I have a template save for this reason. In it i have the lots in all the worlds set up the way i like. With all the public parks and stuff having lot traits so people will walk their pets there. Filled it up with sims i downloaded or made. And i dont play it one iota so nobody aged or moved or married (i have story progression mods) and when i want to start a new game i go in to my Template Save and "save as" under a new name and make my sim as usual, and always have worlds filled from the start.
Sometimes i have to manage the town and evict people but its soooo much easier than setting it up eeeeevery time
