What about other reworks?
As soon as I saw the gardening rework I knew it has opened a space for new reworks to happen in game for skills, events, gameplay features and etc. I want to know what you guys would like to see reworked by the team?
These are the things I would like to see reworked.
1 - Herbalism (and a general OR rework) I like this skill, but it's very boring. Maybe add a new way to make more lucrative or fun.
2 - Gaming - Even though I like this skill, it's really odd that someone who plays a lot of "sims-tetris" would get good enough to play a totally different kind of game. Gaming should work along other skills and boost them as well because different games improves different skills in real life.
3 - Likes and Dislikes - we can do that ingame using the dialogues options as "declare preferred weather"* "Declare Action as preferred genre"*. That's something we could do in CaS for Weather (Seasons), Movies (MH), Costume (Seasons and Spooky Stuff), Color (base game), Music (base game) and etc. And have some small bonuses for things the sims likes and dislikes.
4 - Retail - Retail, for me, seems to be a bit broken. The more expensive the item is, the bigger will be your profit. That's real, but why would every sim be interested in buying the same old violin for the same price? Maybe we could have things like "Type of business" or "Supply and Demand"** If you go to a bakery, you don't take the same time to buy breads and cakes as someone who goes to a music store to buy a 15k violin.
5 - CaS and BnB catalogue - Ee have tons of content, EPs, GPs, SPs and even mods. We need a better way to organize them in the catalogue.
6 - CaS and BnB Filters - They are amazing, but "demand a lot of clicks" to work. When I was in college I was studying design for digital interfaces. And a filter should be less "hide" and more simple to use rather than "dropdown-menus-with-a-huge-list-in-a-tiny-space-place-in-a-corner". It sounds like an afterthought.
I know for some of them there are mods (like the More Columns in CaS) but would be nice to have an official take on those things.
*I don't play the game in English, so I don't know how they are written in English.
**I don't know if this is how you say this expression in English
