What CAN be done to fix TS4?

I miss the rotating and zooming tools in the UI. The water tool is also missing and it would be great if I could create my own custom ponds and rivers again. I want NPCs that were taken away like the police, the robber, the firefighter, the actual social worker, the gardening, and the kid that comes by to drop off the newspaper. I don't even see a mailman come by anymore. I want emotional deaths nerfed because as a deviant Simmer, I was sad it was easier to kill a Sim by woohoo than by fire. Mood swings need to not be so random. Like you enter one room and the next and it changes at bipolar rates. I want private school TS2 style. I miss when parents and children used to hug and greet each other when they came home. I want play interactions back and I do miss toddlers. I want complete open districts so we can visit our neighbor's houses. There is probably more than that, but I'm tired. Thank you for making an organized list.
