What CAN be done to fix TS4?

I've been playing Sims 2 the past few days (hanging out on the forums made me nostalgic) and wow, they sure knew how to be romantic :) So many more animations and genuinely passionate ones too. I always wonder about the demographics of gamers for different games. I know I'm well and truly old enough to see some steamy sims and I have been since before I started playing the original game when it first came out.
