What do you wanna see in The Sims 4: Pets?

I sure hope they do horses again. Their looks and animations in Sims 3 were so realistic and well done. I didn't so much like wild horses running loose in the city though. Farm animals would be nice too. I really liked the cow shed and chicken coop from the S3 Store. I used to put those at community garden lots along with the bee hives.

I feel that, I have never heard of wild horses IRL and if they are wild they'll most likely be caught and sent somewhere. I liked the cow and chicken coop too, I was hoping we would get pigs so heres to hoping for TS4. I even came up with this idea for modular farming, the chicken coop/cow shed/pig pen would be ' pullable ' like walls are, so you could extend them any way you want and the cows/pigs/chickens would only wander in those areas. :)

Yeah, pets has always been a little iffy with me but I loved it in TS3 more than the others. Mostly because CAP was a little more easy. I'm just really excited because CAS is so much fun now I can't wait to see the way pets will work. ;)

@howsimlish Not sure where you're from, but we do have wild horses, called Mustangs, in the USA. They roam free and wild in herds in the wide open areas of the west and are protected by the federal Bureau of Land Management. Occasionally some are rounded up and auctioned off to keep herd numbers down, but no, they never run wild in the city. :)

If horses and other farm animals can't be included in a Pets EP, I hope they are considered for a separate farming EP.

I'd really like to see farming separate from pets, personally. I feel like we'd get much more fully developed pets that way, and much more fully developed farming too (including things like field crops, county fairs, farm stands, etc.)

For pets, I'd like to see really well-developed cats and dogs, but I don't want to play as them: I want them to be unpredictable for me, their owner. Or if they're playable, I'd like that to be optional.

I want soft kitties that sit on laps and purr, and that rub up against legs, and that play in yarn. I want dogs that beg to get their tummies scratched, and that fetch sticks and play with balls, and with each other in dog parks. I want cats that bring caught mice to their favorite Sims. I want misbehaving pets that tear up shoes, steal food from countertops, and pee strategically. I want dog leashes. I want pets that shed and pets that don't. I want a place to take dogs to get prettied up, and dog baths. I want big-eyed kittens and puppies.

For other housepets, I think it would be lovely to have gerbils and hamsters and chinchillas and bunnies and birds. And something that lives only in the Sims universe.

Oh - and careers! There could be a vet career, and a dog-trainer/groomer career.

I think this are all great ideas and would be perfect in a pets expansion. I especially like the vet idea! That is something we have not seen before. Pet clothing would be a cute idea as well.

I want to be able to find other "pets" around the neighborhood like in Sims 3; and I do NOT want them to look like the frogs and other things we have now in the base game. They're soo BIG and ....their textures aren't really detailed at all; and ..I want to be able to collect all the different kinds of birds again. I loved seeing birds around the neighborhood and taking pictures of them and trying to "tame" them.

As much as I hate snakes, I loved that we had options for pets like that. And I would love to see that again.

I want Dogs and Cats to have more interactions with families and toddlers *Cough* EA*Cough* That's your queue to give us toddlers too. :P and to also have more tricks to learn + more objects + toys and stuff like that. D;

If they add horses, I really want children to be able to ride them. They couldn't in TS3 and that never made any sense to me.

I think that farming and pets would go well together, actually. We already have the gardening down, maybe add corn, wheat and hay. Any of the animals they added, such as cows and goats for milk, etc, I would like for them to be actual pets with interactions. I'd want that for the small animals too. Ferrets and gerbils that sit on your shoulder, and birds too.

It would be cool to be able to have shows for your animals. Make it kind of like the weddings and parties are now. You can do it on your home lot or a special venue, and there can be different kinds. A reptile expo, dog and cat show, stock yards, etc.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this! I'd love something like this along with @SelenaGrey 's idea on farm life.

First of all, I talk about this with every opportunity I get so you may have seen this elsewhere. I want an active vet career where you get to treat sick puppies and kittens. I want a wildlife rescue center (I don't care if you never see it and it's just there figuratively) that sends your vets baby penguins and baby giraffes to treat... that would be so freaking adorable!

I think for me though, the most important thing with a pets expansion is the attention to detail. I will hate it so much if they make dogs with the same level of detail as the chipmunks in Outdoor Retreat, or even that cow from the Sims 3 store.
