The personal inventory suggestion is also really good.
And 3rd: I would like to be able to play rotationally the way Sims 2 allowed. I don't want the other played households to be going off and getting enemies or doing other stupid stuff while I'm not controlling them. Just have time freeze on their progress - at least have the option to.
I know I can already do this on their aging, but I want to have the option to stop them from changing their relationships without my influence, too. Barely a day after I first bought the game I completely stopped having several households in one game because this annoyed me so much, but it had been my favorite part of sims 2 (and why I kept playing it until my computer could no longer even support the updated version).
I used to be able to plan out entire cities worth of populations, relationships, family interactions (generations) etc. I miss it.
