The Eldridges are indeed a lovely family. Z took a Sim we found on the Gallery and gently made her over to create Marcia. Then, we paired her with Lloyd, who joined our collection one evening when Z was in the mood for Create-a-Sim. We needed some interesting Teens for Halle and Patrick to hang out with, so we added Jamie to the family.
Marcia's illness became part of the story when we found her zonked out on the bed in "pass out" mode. The staff at T. Pose Medical are first-rate, so Marcia is in good hands.
I thought I had accidentally deleted the screenshots that accompanied this story, but it turned out I had simply saved them to the wrong folder. I was happy to find them, and I've edited the chapter to add them in.
Incidentally, I'm thinking about creating a blog on Wordpress, where this story (and any others Z and I might write) would live.
