@SweetieWright_84 I see what you mean about Matty being a little bit cringy, especially when you first meet him. Had Matty first approached Cam when he was alone, Cam might very well have run away, and fast. The presence of Lauren, who obviously knew Matty and could vouch for the fact that he's basically harmless, made Matty's appearance much less...weird.
I like the Wooderson comparison, except for one possible distinction. As Mr. Disco put it, "You know my high is all-natural."
