First, didn't know this was still in game now with infants attached or otherwise it does take more time to see these invitations but nice to know they are still there. I was just going to have an at home party for Vincent with the family but the game decided that's a no go, I had Emilia go and "take" their other friends as well.

I was cheating the always welcome trait so she could make him a cake but then the caterer showed up so I just let them hang out for a minute, they might end up being good friends for the rest of their lives...darn short.

Upstairs Vincent found Vincent to wish him a happy birthday, or congratulate was what I found, Morty came over to introduce himself.

I had Emilia wrangle them all so they could hang out before it was time for cake the mod didn't seem to lengthen this one probably because it isn't a standard party even though it is by game definition, whatever. I put candles on the cake but the caterer did that I made sure to watch her when she was making other cakes with the rest of the food because I couldn't remember if we had to age up the birthday sim or if they would do themselves.
