I think it was the next day, it was Llama day usually I celebrate in the beginning of the summer months and have Summer's end but obviously in this case it's a major holiday instead. I switched to the Goths found out at some point one of them had been pregnant and they had an infant which was gonna age up soon. I left him with the sitter so they could go spend llama day with their friends of course it had to be raining.

Soon it cleared up and no clouds were there for Karmine to hide her shame, yes they aged up without parties for whatever reason, although I guess it's clear who is his love interest, also I found for some reason Alex was a young adult and while I roll with things most of the time that didn't make sense because we were just at his party. Maybe he tried to age up before I cancelled the cake so he aged up twice. I fixed him, and he's realizing just how much he likes Vincent, at least he followed him around anyways.

"You okay Karmine?"

"...I'm okay Mr. Goth...." he nodded...and maybe laughed a little.

Whenever I have families participate whomever is hosting or plans the party mans the grill, they hadn't gotten into the pool yet but they would no one leaves the party till they do.

"Hey dad....when did you know you liked mom?"

"I think it was the first time I saw her in hotwear, it was...hot." he answered without skipping a beat.

"Dad!"

Mortimer chuckled, he knew what he was asking but he was pretty sure they would take his dad card away if he didn't make some bad joke while teasing his new teenager.

"Well it was, there was heatwave and the air was moving in slow motion it was crazy."

Alex gave him a look, as he tried not smile because his dad could always make him do that, which only made him laugh more.

"I also know what you meant, and for me it was when we got into an argument, something silly I can't even remember, but I do remember the other suitors your grandparents picked out it was easy to right them off. It seemed to last for months going back and forth on who was right and who was wrong. Then one day, I don't know we just got it out or systems and wanted it work, it mattered enough. It's not true that the honeymoon stage ends for people who get to that point, you just have to take a risk and hope you're on that path with whomever you like for that feeling to help over power your big, 'they matter' realization.

You know if you're lucky, you may not get that moment at all, and you'll see you made the right choice anyways."

Alex smiled then, thought he wondered what they could have fought about, knowing what else mattered something he forgot must have been real pointless. Mortimer was quiet for a moment.

"He's a nice young man, even more so now." he said simply, Alex blushed, his dad also always seemed to know everything at the worse or...best times.

It was at that moment I let him go flirt with Vincent who was fairly receptive and I found Cassandra avoiding her family carrying this thing around, don't know where she got it but I saw it was an energy bar...guess she was too good for her dad's cooking. Then I came up with an idea since Vincent and Alex will be paired up eventually, that means he'll move out. Normally when I play them I take Cassie because I just love raising him to be the Goth heir but this time well, why not let her be heiress.

I mostly hung back to let them hang out, then took them home so that I could age up the birthday sims, I think Terrance went to work wasn't paying attention. He sent his love though it was nice to see the family grow in this way even if he was missing his mother he thought she would have been happy with it too.

Before it loaded got a pop up Alex was asking about his appearance, and Mortimer was just flabbergasted to hear one of his perfect children could even think they were....ugly, that's a bad word in their house mind you.

We aged her up and then little Jon he was cute for the little time I knew him.

Then this is where I edit the story, so for this background like his parents Mortimer picked some suitors for Cassandra and she got close to one, they were married on paper but it was still long distance. It was time for him to come home and begin adding to the Goth family name.
