Which Type of Pack Will be for Music?

I would like the ability to play a lot more instruments, Sims to form bands and groups together, the ability to hold concerts or small shows as events (not just Sims showing up and whipping out a guitar in the middle of the sidewalk). They could add a new lot like a concert hall, theater, or something similar. Children and teens can take music lessons. There can be new activities for clubs. They could make the aesthetics of the pack either flashy/cutesy or grungy to reflect different styles seen in trends like kpop, the counterculture style of the 60s-70s, the boldness of the 90s-00s.

They could also add onto the dance aspect of the game and add more dancing styles, dance lessons, school dances, etc. The styles could match the common attire worn in whatever dances they choose to add in. The concert hall, theater, etc. venues could also be used for dance performances. There could be new events for dance recitals or shows.

There's probably so much more they could add that I'm not thinking of right now.

I don't give a plum about any speculations youtubers make because it might end up in some fake hype and a ****storm when it doesn't come, but a music themed pack should be a GP, because GPs normally turn out better than EP, and it doesn't need a new world to work with, it just expands the gameplay.
My idea would be to add Bands and Jam Sessions, give some new Instruments, especially the well requested Drums (Saxophone and Accordion would be hilarious), a Bass, maybe a Cajón, too. A live show lot for concerts would be an awesome opportunity for adding pedestals. To touch it off add a ballet barre and ballet skill.

Form a Band like Rock Band or Pop Group can be added to the gameplay.

First off, I have no interest in Game Changer speculations.

I do however, have an interest in a Musical Pack. ;)

Valid Reason? I produce music on the side and so I'm interested in seeing the sims come together as a musical group and start a jam session.

Whether this will be a GP or EP I'm not sure.

For now I'll go with EP because of the amount of resources needed for such pack.
I'm taking parts of a comment I had on another thread and will put them here:

I believe there could be a GP or even EP dedicated to creating different kinds of bands through something similar like the club system in GT.
Depending on the musical instrument skill level, a chamber orchestra (violins and cellos) or a kids choir/ gospel choir (Vocals and piano/ organ) can be formed and with a high enough ‘band’ skill level, live gigs can be organized.

Drums, Electric and Bass guitars are sorely missed as basic instruments. I do appreciate the ability for a Sim to sing along with guitar or piano and hope this will be developed more.

Developing Immersive band/music game play can be quite challenging: recording all the individual instrumental tracks at different Skill levels and adding animation for each different instrument and as a band must take a chunk of Resources, but if there is a high enough demand for it I can see a great pack coming out of this.

Bands were mentioned in the latest survey, so there is scope for it if enough players are interested.

One of my dreams is to play an entire save full of all kinds of musicians — one in line with the 60s-70s folk/rock scene in America and Western Europe, and another with all kinds of groups and solo artists like kpop of the 2000s. @CAPTAIN_NXR7, your ideas would work so well with my ideas.

I want it to be an EP, but I think it's more likely to be a GP, because we rarely get things as we want them to be.

@CAPTAIN_NXR7, I totally agree. There is a lot to cover in a music pack, and their budget cover everything. If I had to pick only 5 items I must have in a band expansion pack, those items would be:

1. Instruments: ie Drums, Saxaphone, Bass Guitar, Trumpet, etc
2. Fan clubs dedicated to the band
3. New World with performance venues
4. Immersive interaction with Record Labels and Music Producers
5. Ability to perform a concert (no rabbit holes)
