Not feeling the best right now, so play time may be short. Not entirely sure what is going on, but hey, it's late and time to sim! Also trying out a new mod...hopefully it actually does what I want it to do! Looks like it will, but I'm not sure yet.
Ivy got home and headed to bed. She wasn't particularly tired, but it was after 3am. She also apparently made it to Global Superstar at some point, with no notification or additional points? She will add to her Simstagram story when she wakes up to see if that jolts things, but if not, some fixing must be done. She got hungry while sleeping, and spinach frittata was chosen today. It's also Talk Like A Pirate day! After eating, she promoted her older videos and replied to comments. None of the activities fixed her Global Superstar issue, so I fixed it. Ivy is going through a bit of a mean phase, but hasn't really had it affect her yet.
Ivy had unlocked a lifestyle brand, so she headed to her computer to start one. She launched Wholesome, a beauty product line focused on skin care for millennials. Never done this before, so if you have any advice or tips, please share! Then it was time to test the new mod as Ivy headed out to the Cantina in Salvadorada. She went fishing while waiting for some digs and people to spawn. Seems like the mod does exactly what I want it to do - allow my sims to freely travel to Granite Falls and Salvadorada. It also does Bataau, but I don't have that, and frankly wouldn't travel there unless on vacation probably - but with my YA's unable to vacation while in college, I needed a way for them to still get their collectibles from the destination worlds.
After catching a fish and a Faraday Fizz, Ivy headed back up to stock up on possibly needed supplies now that the tables were open. She may have gone a bit overboard, but hey, can never have too much! She needs to spend her money on something, after all. Death notifications also started coming in for the elders of the save - thanks to having aging off for much of it, they had lived quite some time! Minerva Charm was the first to go. Ivy found herself some collectibles and an avocado tree, then she found her first dig spot! She reached Salvadoradian Culture and Archaeology level 1 so far. She found some artifacts and other things, reached Archaeology level 2 and then I realized she had work in a few hours...and hadn't finished Talk Like A Pirate Day! So back to the Cantina she went.
She managed to complete the holiday, and enjoyed chatting with her new Salvadoradian friend. She reached Salvadoradian Culture level 2. After chatting, she decided to try some food, and started with Arepa Rellena con Perico. She then randomly pulled out one of her guitars, since she apparently grabbed one from the lounge, and started playing it. Then it was time for work, so she headed home to go babysitting. Ivy gained the People Person lifestyle apparently as well. She got promoted to Daycare Assistant, which means it's time to move on to another part time job!
Once home, she realized that she hadn't harvested her garden yet, so she started with her money tree while she pondered what job to get next. She decided to go with Manual Laborer for now, since it had weekend hours like her babysitting job. She then harvested everything that hadn't been destroyed by the gardener. After harvesting, she tended her garden, fertilized her trees and tended to her bees. Then it was time to harvest again! And with that came more tending, as there is no gardener (other than her butler) on the weekends. She still has to max the skill anyway. When she got too tired, off to bed she went.
Now I need to get some sleep - time got away from me!
