- blewis82310 years agoSeasoned VeteranI was going to ask why would I consider buying a season pass for Sims 4?
The way things have slowed down, EA would get more from me (in terms of money) than I would get for the game. Nah, no thanks. - For me personally,it would depend on the price of the Season Pass vs the price of each EP,GP and SP bought seperately.
Like in the case of Fallout 4's season pass,my boyfriend and I decided it was easier to buy each DLC seperately than spend $50 at once. But that's because Fallout's DLC is only like $10-$20 each.
With Sims expansions,it's different. They range $10-$40...so if there was a season pass and it was a guarantee that you would get every SP,GP and EP...it would probably be a couple hundred dollars at least and I personally would rather just buy each pack seperately in that case. But if the season pass was $50 like Fallout 4's? I would do that...but I don't see that ever happening lol - No, I like to know my games are mine as long as there is a download server somewhere, or a disc. Which I worry about my store content for TS3 lately since they seem to be closing features like gifting Simpoints etc. (and wonder how long being able to redownload will actually last ten years from now?)
I don't think TS4 has enough content and or will ever have, to warrant a seasons' pass. I think if people want to play MMOs that might be a good idea (for them) but not a single player game where there is no need to level up etc. and not my thing to do. - ladybreid10 years agoSeasoned AceNope.
There are only a small handful of games I will pay a monthly/seasonal or annual fee for such as WoW, and Sims would not qualify. - It entirely depends on pricing and what was included. If it was reasonably priced maybe- because I am a bit of a sucker and will buy most packs eventually. I would love a season pass to include some exclusive content to make it worth while. Sort of like how you got extra stuff if you preordered some of the Sims 3 expansions.
- I've learned my lesson about buying season passes without knowing what the future content is going to be.
The only time I buy season passes anymore is for older games that have all of their DLC released so I actually know what I'm getting.
So no, I wouldn't at this point for this game. - HAHAHAHAAAAAA...... No.
- Maybe if I was rich and knew exactly what content i was paying for

- Simfan92310 years agoSeasoned AceYeah, it's a no for me. When it comes to The Sims, I have to see what is being offered to me. If I don't like it I'll contemplate buying it for a while (watch YT videos, look at reviews and other simmers experiences) like I did with Romantic Garden. I didn't get it till maybe 2 weeks ago.
Now if the season pass was the right price and offered exclusive content.....probably still a no.
