Off topic, but my thread so I give myself permission... I am really frustrated with these forums. Getting this thread started this morning was so annoying that I seriously considered giving the whole thing up as a bad effort. Now that I've seen replies from Ellupelluellu and BlueSeaWaves I know that I don't want to lose this community but then I realize that there are replies that I didn't see because they get buried under "Show More" and the notifications are almost worthless.
Argh, why does it have to be so hard?
Sorry, end of rant. We now return you to our regularly scheduled story, already in progress.

But I agree on notifications, those aren't useful at all atm, I really hope it to be fixed .
Gets time to get used to nested replies too.

These forums makes it difficult also to follow stories I love. I was a lurker on the old forum and read all your stories. I would hate to lose you and your wonderful characters.

I'm also becoming very frustrated with these forums. I just want to post and discuss things, but the bugs and glitches are increasingly making this more difficult every day. Without some improvements I'm not sure the effort to continue to use this site is warranted. 😢
That was the question I was asking myself this morning.
The main thing that makes me persist, beyond a kind of bone-deep stubbornness, is that, if I abandon this site, I risk losing these people. I like these people. Find me another site, that works, where my readers will gather and I'm there. I'd just post on my blog if people would actually follow it and make comments there, but they don't.
