2026-2027 wishlist/roadmap

What I want:

• Underwater Gameplay (scuba diving, or if mermaid without gear)
• Underwater Biodome Lots (Sims 2 Biodome Lot was my favourite!)
• Medieval EP (R&L is missing way too much Medieval/Pirate content)
• Dragons (either with Medieval or another fantasy pack)
• Future/Dystopian EP (future or space/ITF equivalent)
• Ballet Skill/Career
• Fashion Model/Designer Career
• Fortune Teller Career
• Skill Careers added (any skill that renders a crafted item with a daily or weekly stipend)
• Collector Career (anything collected like from collections, dig sites, metals, gems, elements, artifacts, and sold/sent to museums as well as a daily or weekly stipend).

What I think we might get due to feedback:

• Hotels and Luxury Tourism (running/managing)
• Bands/Singing Career/Showtime equivalent
• World Adventures equivalent (JA is just one world and people loved WA)

What I think should be refreshed/updated:

• Base game skills should be updated similar to Sims 3 skills (click to open statistics and challenges), all skills only with 5 levels updated to 10 and more level features added (for all the skills/packs).
• Cookbook/cooking. Sims can personalize their preferred recipes to autonomously cook (and toggle a household member to be the designated meal prepper). Autonomously gather prepped ingredients and place in fridge. Ability to create custom recipes with available thumbnails and ingredients (setting as healthy/unhealthy, etc).
• Skill lock feature (to include removing unwanted pie selections if skill locked/removed).
• Career lock feature (love this for R&L want it for all)
• Trait autonomy fixes.
• Add more base game traits.
• RoM spellcasters do not seem to do much autonomous spells even with Ideals. I want practical spellcasters to "Scruberoo" (if they learned it) instead of "Clean Up", and "Scruberoo" if hygiene is low. Mischief spellcasters should be casting mischief spells on disliked or worse Sims. Etc.
• OR/AA add insects/butterflies to all worlds including hidden.
• Update some traits/skill images some icons don't really match/look great with the newer/better effort ones. Some skill images don't really match the game interface IMO (charisma (they look like cringe sunglasses IHMO LOL), dance (disco ball seems odd choice especially with Waltz, sexy dance, nobody discos anymore XD), etc.)

I wish we get all the haircolors for all lifestages and ages including the infants. Because my fantasy sim babies cant have fantasy hair tone like green fairy babies needs to have green hair if their parents have.  Another thing is the Horse ranch EP. Horses could have more coat color options per breed just like dogs and cats have, it would be great if we could design our own coat colors and save and tag them on spesific breeds because some breeds of horses have so many beautiful coat colors and now there only one coat per breed. Same with the CAS, it woud be nice to have catalogue where you can save outfits you create in a clothing bin, kind of like a clothes designer. You design a outfit and save it and its not tied on specific sim, you can go to that catalogue and add that style yourself. Clothes designer could be awesome new job too, combined with the sewing skill. And then there is the scrab book/journal i wish we get.
