Uh....Yeah, if you don't buy games for years, and then more of them come out, and you decide to buy all of them in one go, it's gonna feel like a big expense. Buy one pack a month and eventually you'll catch up. You can't really indulge in all the packs at once anyway. Buying multiple at a time is ill-advised.
Also isn't 1000 reais like 250 dollars? You're not even that far behind. Especially not on an Architect's salary, tbh lol
This game has exponentially more content than the previous games you loved, you don't need all of it to have a similar experience. The older ones are also not only still available but were recently re-released. There's nothing stopping you from enjoying the game, I think...
I wouldn't recommend looking up the standard of living here in Brazil. You'd discover that 1 real was worth about 2 dollars in 2012, and today it's worth around 6. The point isn't whether things are expensive for us and not for you, especially since my post was about a realization I had when I had to focus on my health for a while and stopped keeping up with the game's new releases.
