A few suggestions about Kits

So many people dislike kits because they think that what you get isn't worth the money. Here are my suggestions on pack smaller than stuff packs that would have enough to it I think would be worth it to some folks. You will notice that I didn't follow the rules here. I put what I thought would make a kit good.

  • Japanese Steakhouse - I'm going to be honest I know this one would have a bit more limited appeal because it's meant to give more life to Dine Out. But this idea has a two-fold purpose. If EA thought they could make a ton more money on a kit that is meant to work with Dine Out they might actually concentrate on fixing Dine Out. Secondly if they did do exactly that the people who buy this and have Dine Out & Snowy Escape they could make some pretty fair restaurants in that zone which would improve Snowy Escape as well.
    • Hibachi Cook Top & Recipes - That WILL work with Dine Out if you have it
    • Sushi Counter & Recipes - That WILL work with Dine Out
    • Additional Recipes - Miso Soup, Mango & White Rice, Mochi Ice Cream
    • Buddha of Commerce

I still believe they'd make a killing off historical-themed kits, BB and CAS in tandem, one for each decade of the 20th century and one for late Victorian and Edwardian respectively.

I also think a "well dressed man"-kit would go over well, with suits, matching pants, vests, shirts and suit jackets as well as coats.

Winterwear - coats, gloves, hats, scarves...

I agree whole heartedly about the historical themed kits. In fact I'm adding a reply to my post that will have a Castle Interior Kit suggestion.

I also believe we need more Winter Wear, especially more put together looks. What I want specifically is to be able to set Rain Gear separately from Winter Wear and utilize a few clothing options we have as Winter wear.

  • I would like a kit of food stalls to add to community lots. There could be 3 or 4 lunch type stalls like acai bowls, street tacos, sandwiches & wraps and 3 or 4 sweets food stalls like ice-cream, doughnuts, maybe a cotton candy stand. A few new outdoor table and chair sets would finish this cart off well.

I would also like a park kit with new playgrounds, slides, and playground pieces you could combine to design your own playground.

I would totally buy a kit of hammocks and porch swings

  • I liked that. You got to have a variety of different restaurants like a Korean restaurant, Chinese restaurant etc... also the furniture should relate to the culture

I have a list or two for Halloween/Spooky Day things. I think Halloween & Christmas should get yearly free gifts. I ordinarily don't look for or ask for free anything but in the instance of Holidays I think that is a great opportunity to give back.
