A Request for a Major Weather and Seasonal Quality-of-Life Update

I would love to see The Sims 4 Seasons receive a meaningful quality-of-life update that makes weather, seasonal environments, and neighborhood activities feel more realistic, visually appealing, immersive, and dynamic.

Seasons is already one of the most important expansion packs in the game, but I believe there is still a lot of potential to improve it. Here are some changes I would love to see:

1. MORE DYNAMIC WEATHER

• Weather that transitions more gradually instead of changing suddenly.
• Different levels of rain, from light showers to heavy downpours.
• More snowfall variations, including light snow and heavier snowstorms.
• Thicker fog, especially during autumn and early mornings.
• More noticeable wind effects on trees, leaves, and outdoor objects.

1. MORE REALISTIC SEVERE WEATHER

• Occasional hailstorms.
• More dramatic thunderstorms with darker skies, stronger wind, and heavier rain.
• Weather warning notifications before severe weather arrives.
• More environmental reactions to extreme weather.

1. BETTER-LOOKING SEASONAL ENVIRONMENTS

• More visually noticeable changes between spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
• More beautiful autumn scenery, with richer foliage, colorful trees, and falling leaves.
• More realistic-looking winter environments, including improved snow coverage and scenery.
• More vibrant spring environments with blooming flowers, greener landscapes, and fresh-looking vegetation.
• More beautiful summer environments with lush greenery, brighter skies, and seasonal lighting.
• More detailed seasonal lighting, skies, and environmental effects.
• Seasonal changes that make every world feel unique and beautiful throughout the year.

1. MORE AUTOMATIC SEASONAL ACTIVITIES

• Occasional neighborhood events that happen without players having to organize them.
• More spontaneous seasonal activities for Sims.
• More outdoor activities that change depending on the weather.

Please consider giving The Sims 4 Seasons a meaningful quality-of-life refresh focused on realistic weather, beautiful seasonal visuals, environmental details, and spontaneous seasonal gameplay.

I would love to see each season feel visually unique, less predictable, and more alive while keeping the fun and unpredictability that makes The Sims special.
