Ability to disable Sharing is Caring

@Trecie , the only way I know how to disable this is to not allow any NPC voting in Game Options, but that would disable all NPC voting, which you may or may not want to do. (The game will still act like there is a vote going on and that NAPs are passed, but nothing will really pass or be enforced unless Sims played by you actually vote on it. 😅 ) 

To turn off NPC voting , to into the Options Menu (in top right corner with 3 dots). and then choose
Game Options > Pack Settings > Enable NPC Voting (uncheck the box) > Apply Changes (button in bottom right of the box). 

However, this will not remove NAPs already in action. If you want to remove NAP's already in action, you can either convince other Sims to repeal them (through gameplay), or else you can use a cheat.
The cheat is testingcheats on or testingcheats true (either will work) and then you just Shift-click on your mailbox and the option should be listed. (Shift-click is pressing the Shift button plus left-clicking on an object).  To turn off testing cheats just type testingcheats off or testingcheats false , so you don't accidently use another cheat that requires testing cheats to be active. Testing cheats is a cheat that needs to be active for many other cheats to work, so there isn't anything difficult to remember. 😉
