I see, the way I play it makes it way harder. I only really have the shower and looking at art on the computer to get my child sims inspired, I don't have may packs. But from what I know being inspired also helps the child to get the creativity skill faster, so constantly being energized makes it slower all around. (Although I just know this from looking it up so I may have false information, please let me know if I'm wrong)

Inspired mooslets don't really make it any faster, at least from my experience. I can get the creative aspiration done in about 5 sim days. I think you can daydream via base game (click on sim). I think outdoor retreat introduced cloud gazing, but not sure. My sims do not really get energized as children.

See I've tried that too, but the buff shows up almost all the time and it lasts so long and it's also really strong. My other buffs run out before I can get my sim to be inspired and not energized. It makes it so much harder and I actually had a child sim age up before I could complete it even though he's supposed to be really creative. I'm glad it's not affecting you like it is me but it's to the point that if I want my child sim to do the aspirations where you need to be inspired or focused I have to change their trait because it makes it nearly impossible for me.

RoseMillsap, have you tried using lot traits too. Certain lot traits also help with the inspired emotional moodlet. I am going to predict it is how you are playing the sim. Because emotional states are way too easy to manipulate in-game. Have you tried to buy a reward from the rewards store, even if it is using the parents reward points. There is a drink there for an instant inspired buff that can help overpower it. Sometimes you need to stack inspired buffs with the multiple ways it allows in-game to achieve it.
