Active Trait and other Obsessive Behavior
Can you please tweak the Active trait to be a bit LESS active? Any sim I allow to have this trait, they will wake up, jump right out of bed and jump on the treadmill or weight machine. I am like no, you need to do your gardening or take a shower and tell them to go do that but the moment they can they're running back to the exercise equipment. They can be hungry and in the red and will want to go workout rather than eat or shower. It is exasperating.
Wouldn't it be a fairly simple thing to code into their DNA, so to speak, that once they have exercised for a set amount of time that they won't get the urge to do it again for 24 or 48 hours hours? I mean we can always make them if they need to for something job related or whyever we might want them to. But as it stands, their single minded obsession is really frustrating and if I lock them away from the gym equipment I will forget about it.
This would also be huge if it could be done for dancing, drinking water, and maybe even video gaming to an extent. I'm sure I am forgetting something but if they were not so obsessed they might spend some time with their pets, kids and family. Doors with a timer on them would work maybe for gym equipment but not realistic when it comes to the rest of that.
Active and outgoing people still like to read or maybe even write a book on occasion. But not my sims, oh no. I have to lock them in a room so they can't do anything else to get them to do some things especially if they have active or adventurous trait. This shouldn't make it so darn hard for me to get them educated because they won't sit still.
Anyway, please add some buff into the game to help control this obsessiveness. It would really add a huge amount to game enjoyment :)
