After Over 4 Years It's Time To Acknowlegde The FPS Drops Issue

I've been experiencing this issue since the Snowy Escape update, the game at this stage is just mostly unplayable. People are even claiming that these FPS drops exist since the Seasons update and after that many years, issue was never fully fixed or investigated properly. Random FPS drops have even occured during developer livestreams and they do happen on consoles.

Fixing such an issue as such should be the number one priority, and to this day, we haven't even received any official statement about it. Players shouldn't have to play in 15 FPS because of random drops in framerate.

    From what I can determine, there is more than one culprit behind this. One of those culprits is EA server connection. Some of this FPS drop is due to the game or the app or the game and the app not connecting to the EA servers properly. Don't ask me why, ask EAxis why a Single Player game has this issue and how they plan to fix it for The Sims 5 since they insist on adding more online "features" when their servers can't maintain a constant stable connection to us, their customers on The Sims 4.

    Going offline in both App and Game solves it when it's the server connection.

    GO OFFLINE in the app, then launch the game and...
    Game Options » Other » Online Social Features Access = DISABLED

    Et voila! ALL THE FRAMES CAN BE YOURS FOR THE LOW, LOW PRICE OF THE ENERGY AND TIME IT TAKES ME TO TYPE THIS ALL OVER THE INTERNET (also you sacrifice the Gallery, but is constant connection to the Gallery really necessary?)! <cackles maniacally>

    @Sejian I've already had suspicions that the online features might cause random frame rate drops since TS3 also had lag issues while logged in - but this issue was not present in TS4 since the game's launch.

    After playing in offline mode, I still experienced FPS drops after entering the Build / Buy Mode.

    It seems like TS4 keeps switching between different servers while running. That might be one of the causes of the frame rate drops (?).
