Annoying phone calls and invites

There should be a whole tab in options of just the phone notifications with stuff about festivals, or who can call you etc. Especially when you're doing the decades challenge or playing off the grid and it's so immersion breaking when bess calls asking for money when you're not even meant to have a phone.

The Survive Mod helps with that, but it's not perfect and it can mess up the simple living and off the grid. Not perfect, but it stopped people just showing up and phone calls, but then I couldn't cook even though I had off the grid items. I think they have updated that.

I miss the calls to go hangout with other sims. I remember at one point I would get calls to go to other sims birthday parties and invites to pop up parties in windenburg. I miss those. Unfortunately all I get are job offers and I get several a day which is pretty annoying. 

OMG YES, please stop the job offers!!! My sim has a job!!!! And knows where to look at the list of jobs if they didn't have a job. 

Most all of us HATE, HATE, HATE spam calls in real life so WHY subject us to them in our game? Just sayin :)

So annoyed with phones in Sims, anything to disable or turn off would be great.

Also, did you check your game settings in game options/game play? You can turn off friendly invites there and you may have turned them off trying to get rid of the spam and job offers. So if you turn the friendly invites back on you may get the invites you want again.
