Sid1701d9I understand your frustrations. Yes, Maxis hasn't fixed or addressed several bugs that are years old. I have reported bugs with the LE, screenshots, video, save file, and code where it has occurred. The same bugs are not fixed. I stopped reporting as many bugs because it is a time-consuming process. I have identified over 100 bugs in my own game. Most of them have reports, some don't.
Here are some solutions to the bug report forum:
- Use the code option to insert the code for the LE. Pasted code outside the code editor and upload files don't work.
- If your bug report is locked as a duplicate, they got your report. Duplicate just means there is already a master thread for the issue. Your issue will be added to the master thread. If it is locked as a multi-report, you need to report the issues separately.
- You might get access denied because you are trying to view or edit a thread that has been locked or moved.
- If you want to upload files that are not images or videos you need to use a service like Dropbox, OneDrive, or Google Drive.
- Make sure you include your save file(s) with your report.
You stated your bug was fixed in an updated. If your bug is fixed, you don't need to report it as fixed.
