Can Branded Free Content Stop Being Forced

We should have a choice to claim free branded content or not. It always sucks when they add it to the base game, especially for console players who can't just mod it out. 

A good example of this was the deck the palms event where you could just claim what you wanted from the event and avoid all the SpongeBob content if you wanted. I can't be the only one who really dislikes branded content in the Sims. 

Also I'm not saying make these items limited time or anything, just a simple option to claim them or not. 

Another alternative would being able to hide certain assets in CAS / Build/Buy and disable for randoms. I don't think branded content is usually enabled for random anyway though.
