Auto save
I think there should be an option to turn off auto-save, especially while there are a few issues surrounding it and it over riding manual saves with previous automatic saves

I went into save options and unchecked the option to save during sims traveling and when exiting build mode. The other options I left off and only have a reminder to save every 2 hours. I think that is the only way to get rid of it. I found it needed to be set for every save individually.

Nope ...it's silly that you have to be 'in game' to actually even access the save settings...
Autosave STILL saves even though I've turned it off....😠
I want to be able to disable autosave at the main menu and have it turned off permanently
Managed to get the Autosave turned off...
Realised you can get to Save Settings in Game Options when starting a new game...🤭
